The name on our slip was Rishi.This guy was the absolute MAN of the hour. He knows what he's doing, and he's good at it! Sorry for being that group of rowdy restaurant/bar staff that you had to wait on. Please make sure that your manager praises you for your great work!
I had a subpar experience, the restaurant was understaffed for front of house on a busy night.The server sat us down, she was pleasant enough to take our food and they good was great.Our server was distracted with the serveral sets of groups coming in after we got our food that she forgot to bring our water and see how our food tasted. We had to get her attention just for the bill that was a long wait too unfortunately as she was taking care of the other tables with drink orders as we tried to get her attention.To be honest we felt forgotten, the waitress apologized for the experience of her being distracted by the other tables which I said nothing back as I decided not to come back. And honestly didn't like we had to be excluded from getting normal service.This restaurant caters to groups of friend groups looking to drink that's where the service staff will pay attention.
When we arrived on Saturday evening, it was quite busy so it took a while for our waitress to come take our order. However, the food was delicious and so were the drinks. Their Halifamous Donair Pizza was delicious.
Ordered veg pizza, grill veggies with mock-tail. Food was good. They have free pool table and a Jukebox (you need credits to play songs).
Dropped in for a late night pint after a long shift. Staff are great, they're always positive and friendly. The garlic fingers I ordered were spot on, restaurant was bumping with the late night crew, always a fun vibe. Definitely a great spot for a late night pint, or some drunk pizza.
The waiter wasn’t attentive at all. I was in a rush but had to wait for a long time to get her attention to get our takeaway box and bill. 2.03.2022 at 2:28 pm
Don’t forget to take your id and vaccination proof. One of my friend forget to take id still they allow us to eat but didn’t allow us to order any drinks.We all are vegetarian so we have ordered1. I honestly never bother with reviews however, tonight's experience was something I will never forget! I was so appalled buy the staff at this establishment that I have chosen to try to help save anyone else the experience of a wasted trip. Our experience started by walking into the establishment, there was two gentlemen seated individually in the whole restaurant and no staff anywhere present with sign stating for us to wait to be seated which is what we did. After standing for 3-5 minutes we noticed a guy coming from one end of the establishment, as he got fairly close I addressed him with "hello" to which he seemingly looked right through me and walked past not even making eye contact with me. He proceeded to walk to the other end of the establishment and opened the door which was evident was the entrance to the kitchen. A few moments after this the kitchen door opened again and a female exited and started to walk towards us. By this time we've been in the establishment for close to seven eight minutes and I'm truthfully getting annoyed that were not seated yet considering there was only two other individuals in the whole restaurant. A staff member came moments later and did address us and I asked if she could seat us. At this point she asked me if there was something wrong and to be honest I was actually having a hard time getting my words out because I was so flabbergasted in her presentation towards us and the other individuals who had already walked past us and completely ignored us. When I tried to tell her what we had experienced her comment to us was "he doesn't have to address you he's kitchen staff" her body language, tone, expressions on her face and the words that were used while she was continuing to over talk me were so very rude and condescending that I stated I would rather just leave at this point and we turned to leave. It was at this point this staff stated "go ahead and leave I still don't understand what your problem is" I turned around and said to this staff member " " if you would be quiet long enough to hear what I'm trying to explain to you instead of over talking me continuously you would know what my problem is." It was at this point she talked her hands up in the air walked away and said "this is a pandemic and I don't have to put up with this" how do I read the reviews prior to going to this establishment I'm more than likely would not have gone it is seemingly common for there to be reviews on rude staff. So to the girl who called herself Jess, you're right this is a pandemic and I chose to leave my home specifcaly to attend your establishment to which I got rude treatment and to the kitchen staff with the dreadlock hair, you may not be waitstaff but you are a face of that establishment and next time somebody says hello to you you might want to say hello back and maybe offer to get a wait staff for the people standing there.
Id expect in any establishment there is a certain level of professionalism that should be maintained when at the management level. Unfortunately after visiting Freemans downtown this past Friday night I was astounded to see that this was not the case and I was embarrassed that I had brought possible clients to an establishment that treats their customers in such a way. My employees, clients and I were regular customers at Freemans before the pandemic, starting up with in person sales again, I have informed the employees we will discontinue this expense and spend our money elsewhere. I was very disappointed to see this business go so downhill in such little time. I warn you of the ill-mannered and impolite manager at the downtown location and suggest you go elsewhere as well.
Staff are genuinely so rude to everyone! Blue haired security guard didnt let the person in our group who was dd’ing in she was completely sober but “seemed too drunk” yet they let the girls who were staggering and falling outside in. I completely agree with not letting people in who may be too drunk yet this was not the case at all! After waiting almost TWO HOURS for our food we attempted to speak to the blonde haired manager who claimed it was our fault and threatened and screamed at us. I have never had a worse experience at a restaurant and I am disappointed as I used to be a regular but me and my friends will not be going back!
