This location offers fast service,large portions,very good burgers and fresh cut fries.Will return again for sure.
Nice location in downtown Halifax. The restaurant includes indoor and outdoor dining. The food is not bad. The BLT had lots of bacon. The milk shake was quite good.
It was excellent food, great to see where they show that the potatoes came from Prince Edward Island. For 4 adults expect to kill over 60.00. It is expensive.

Loved it! I got a bacon cheese dog and fries with a side of gravy. I'm fussy with fries and I thought there's were fantastic! The gravy was amazing, and they put lots of bacon on the hotdog! Was my first time eating there and I would definitely go back!
Great food here if you're not worried about calorie counts. The bacon cheeseburger was excellent, and the fries were delicious (very well salted) - portion sizes are very large. It's expensive but really does have a higher quality feel to it, and you leave satisfied.
Good burgers and fries — would order again— but don’t order the BLT. The bacon was burnt and in pieces. Inedible.
'Five Guys' on Argyle Street make the burger in front of your eyes. The fries are delicious and make 'Five Guys' a superior Fast Food Joint. The service was polite.
Amazing fresh food. One of the reviews is that there is no freezer in this joint which is so very true. The toppings were fresh at room temperature which made the food even more tasty. The fries were fresh and they use peanut oil which has a different but good taste. Really enjoyed a good burger and fries after quite a long time.
I have to say, I was disappointed with this 5 Guys location. I've come to expect great food from this franchise, but the burger at the Halifax location was overcooked and bland! The fries were good and the was milkshake ok. Definitely not worth paying $50 for 2 x burgers, fries & milkshake. I don't plan on going back!
