Tried most of the coffee's here and without a doubt perfection. Baked goods are delicious as well and the market is awesome. If you like coffee this is the place.
Absolutely the most beautiful latte and almond croissants I have ever had. I travel by bus from the south end just to go to there. The people are lovely and very helpful as well. Once I tried the latte, which had gorgeous chocolate undertones, I had to buy some of their house blend which they used to make it. I will be back!
The espresso is so good its inspirational! It has inspired me to strive for even better espresso at home and in our cafe! I drink a lot of espresso, and Espresso 46 is world class!
Excellent espresso and cappuccinos. Quite busy but efficient friendly service. This will soon be an institution! On par with Olimpico in MTL

Going here is the best part of my day. The staff is incredibly friendly, the items on offer for sweet treats are delectable (try the bomboloni if available or the pesche dolce [an incredible pastry made to look like a peach with either chocolate or vanilla filling]), the sandwiches (Thurs-Sat) are wonderful and the coffee is the best in Halifax. I’m going to go out on a limb and say it’s actually some of the best I’ve ever had, period.The lineups can be long depending on the time of day, but this just provides an opportunity to strike up a conversation with fellow coffee enthusiasts or pet some of the pooches that frequent The Window with their owners.
There's no doubt about it - this is the most well kept secret of the coffee-loving population of Halifax. Come to the outside order window if you'd like to sit in the sun, otherwise come through the warehouse market entrance and find yourself greeted by friendly staff and a cozy nook. This place manages to feel authentic and impressive while operating out of such a small space. Come here if you want real, italian-made espresso!
Authentic italian coffee. The best in Halifax, maybe in NS, or in Atlantic... amazing staff, delicious treats. Don't be too late otherwise you might not find your delicious.

Realllly good coffee, perfectly made every time. If your lucky enough to get there early enough that they still have treats their bombolini (not sure if that's how you spell it) is fantastic. Every staff member is great and if you ever get your coffee made by Fredrico, it is always a pleasure. We also bought some of their coffee beans to make at home and they have become a fast favourite.
