Went for Burger Bash. We got the roasted Brussels sprouts ($14) as an appetizer. Although the Tom Yum sauce didn't taste completely authentic, they were still flavourful, cooked well with a nice crispiness and served with aioli. Unfortunately, the mains weren't nearly as good. We got the short rib mac and cheese ($20) and Burger Bash East Burger ($15 with a $1 donation to Feed NS, plus $4 for a side order of fries). I understand restaurants have been struggling with supply chain issues, staff shortages, and more pandemic-related issues, but I can't think of anything that would excuse an almost total lack of seasoning. A light sprinkling of herbs on the mac n cheese provided the only bit of flavour; nothing salty, spicy, or savoury to add depth. The fries, on the other hand, were quite oversalted. The burger fell flat, overwhelmed by the beef and fried egg with little to no (?) kimchi slaw or crispy wonton strips as advertised. Neither the burger nor the mac n cheese could be saved with salt and pepper. Despite the small portion sizes of the main dishes, I didn't finish either.Service was a bit slow but understandably so on a weekend evening, and our waiter was very friendly. Unfortunately I can't see myself returning, except maybe for a takeout order of Brussels sprouts.

I went to East of Grafton for the "Happy Hour" specials & it was great !You get a very large size of nachos , like a cookie sheet full & the price was great as they are half price from 4-6 . I also had chicken sliders and some Pork Bao with some coworkers . Everything tasted good .Our server , Bethany , was Fantastic :)

Our table was directly in front of the open kitchen door so I could see the kitchen and the cook's our entire visit which was not great as it didn't look the cleanest. My partner and I shared the nachos which were delicious. I ordered the ribs and he got the mac and cheese. Mac and cheese was tiny and the short rib was clumped in balls throughout. The ribs were honestly terrible and I didn't wanna finish them but I was starving. They had little to no meat on them and the sauce they were tossed was so acidic is may as well have been vinegar. Wouldn't go back here for the food but the servers were friendly and we enjoyed the atmosphere:(

We aren't from the East Coast so we don't get fish like this too often but this was easily the best fish I've ever had in my entire 26 years of existing. Fast and Friendly service. Thanks again!

My husband and I happened upon this place by a fluke the afternoon of our 11 year anniversary. We were out for a bite, went to the Midtown, had smelly (rotten) baked haddock served to us. Left there and roamed for another place to have a drink and food. Well we stumbled to the front of East of Grafton. The outside doors were so inviting. Strolled In to the the most welcoming young man. It was a nice treat to be so nicely greeted when we arrived. His over and above didn’t stop there it continued our whole visit. We enjoyed his service so much we tipped him $30 on a $60 bill. That’s just the service side! We went for the 2 for 20 menu ordered 4 couldn’t eat the whole deliciousness so took the rest to go. On our drive back we talked about how we couldn’t wait to bring this back for the rest of our family to try. The food was delicious, we will be back and this will be our new regular! My husband feels the pork belly was the best thing he’s ever tasted! Perfecto! Happy to see an employee with such passion…:)

Loved the atmosphere of this place and the vegetarian options. The cauliflower and chickpea curry was so good. My friend said the fish and chips were also great. Nice wait staff. It is a bit loud and dark if that's not your thing.

I was never here before I will be back..nachos were delicious..the chicken sliders are amazing

Awesome place. Great food!! Recommended.

Beautiful decor and a small menu with wonderfully presented dishes. We went during Dine Out and they had two appetizers for $20 and beer on tap for $6. We had enough food for take out. The chicken sliders were great as they were small and juicy. The fish tacos were a bit bland on its own although it looked very tasty. The cheesy pierogis were tasty and came with around 8 pieces. The pork belly bao had super soft bao bun but the filling was just ok. Overall, it was a good experience and it wasn’t crowded for a Thursday evening. The only downside was that a couple of members in the group didn’t feel too well the next morning from the food.

The food was one dimensional. I got chicken wings for $15 plus tax. There was about 10 wings there. They were completely unseasoned and tossed in a sweet sauce. The pulled pork mac and cheese I got for $20 was suspended in cheese soup, and the pork in it tasted EXACTLY like the cheese. So...apparently the pork was completely unseasoned, too. The size of the dish was literally smaller than my open hand.... For $20... And one dimensional flavor. I can't. Not for these prices. Please get a new chef or just communicate with them that foods needs FLAVOR PROFILES. Sweet, salty, spicy, umami, sour. This had nothing. One dimensional and quite frankly just sad. I will not be back. Plus, after sending my chicken wings back, the server neglected to check on our main dishes for quite a while. She was on her phone at the counter and she seemed really unhappy. And I was as polite and professional as I could be with my -- very valid -- complaint. I just don't understand. I am thoroughly disappointed. I didn't mention the mac and cheese wasn't good because the server does not have a welcome attitude and I'm trying to avoid conflict. I just asked for a takeout container after taking about 5 bites. I tried pawning it on my friend but she didn't like it either. *Sigh*
