I don't even know how to start this review!This joint was recommended by a co-worker. With my family we decided to try the family combo! It's was not a disappointment, it was a pleasant surprise. The Chicken was seasoned well beyond expectations. Brussels Sprouts are a must-try. Whoever came up with this version of Crispy BS(Brussels Sprouts) is a GENIUS. HE/SHE should be kissed on his/her brains. Macaroni was great. The star of the combo was the ROASTED POTATOES!!! I MEAN ? ⭐️ ? ?. The Fries were okay, crispy enough for the early part of the meal, not a big fan of fries with skin on. That's just me. But the seasoning on it was perfect, just not enough to overcome my dislike of skin-fries. Service was good enough for a five star review. Going back to try the sandwiches soon! For anyone on the fence about trying tis place, JUST GO. If you're not dazzled by the service, I'm certain the food will go you back in! Overall, great spot for chicken!!!!
I tried 'The Spicy' and got it to-go. The bottom bun was literally soaked in the 'spicy oil' they use on the chicken, so that was a bit of a turn off, also wasn't that spicy tbh; outstanding crunch on the chicken though. Fries were phenomenal too, even though they were soft (likely due to the order being take-out). It was $20 for the burger and a small fries w/ no drink (they dont offer combo options for their sandwiches, everything is A la carte). All in all, I'd give it a 3.5/5, I'll have to try eating it there next time and see how much better it is 'fresh'
It tastes good, but HOLY FORK!!!! WHY IT GOTTA BE SO GREASY LOL I had to have a shower after I ate this thing
My boyfriend and I get their weekly special or the spicy almost every Friday. Do you know how good something has to be to get it every Friday? Very good. Very very good. 10/10. Thank u.
Service was great, staff was friendly and the chicken burger was okay, the lettuce was a little brown for my liking and the chicken was nicely cooked/crunchy.Just a tip, if you're going to refrigerate you hamburger buns before proofing and baking them be sure to cover them very well. That will make them look a lot better and more appealing.Thanks, until we meet again ?
I got “The Spicy” and boy was it delicious! I had heard lots about this place and as a Fried chicken lover, so I had my eyes set on this place for some time!The batter was great, they use the thigh (dark meat) so lots of flavour. All the ingredients were quality and with the hot oil dip this little fried thigh got infused with the chillie oil taste (which is a mild heat btw). I really enjoyed the sandwich but would have preferred more heat on it ( like Nashville hot chicken). I did find the sandwich quite heavy on the gut and my wife struggled with finishing - None the less, highly recommend this place as a MUST TRY and will be back for more to try the rest of their menu.
Clearly excellent chicken. Nice weekly innovations for sandwiches. The most surprising thing is their (classic) poutine is remarkably true to what one should be, and should not be overlooked.
Where do I begin? This is the hot chkn with sprouts. Delish! Fun atmosphere, super friendly staff, lots of food options. I've been meaning to try this place for awhile, and now I'll be back to try more :)
Eaten here a few times and it doesn't seem to disappoint. Loved their new special sandwich, it had the perfect blend of sweet, spicy and crunchy. Fries are a MUST-HAVE. Definitely recommend.
Best chicken sandwich in halifax! Amazing mac n cheese and I’ve tried so many but this is definitely top 3. 10/10!
