I ordered take-away, so the meal had already been paid for. About halfway through our meal at home my girlfriend bit into a spring roll and started gagging on something. She pulled a long string out of her throat and could not finish her meal because of it. I took the string with the bits of the spring roll that were attached to it back to the restaurant the next day. They did not cover the cost of my meal.. instead handed me a $25 gift certificate. The meal was $65. Thanks for nothing Cha Baa Thai!
I got take out on new years eve when they were very busy. I am going to give them another chance on a less busy day and rewrite this review if it's better. We ordered 4 different dishes and all were pretty bland compared to other Thai places we have eaten at. The pad thai was pretty good, but I didn't taste any ginger at all in the ginger beef.. Which is odd. And I barely tasted ay curry in the curry dish we ordered. The containers of food were half filled at best yet prices were pretty close to other Thai places that fill the take out containers packed full. Also rice was extra. I'm not an expert, but I don't think that Thai food is supposed to be bland! When I order something with curry in the name I want to taste it! Again I will give this place another chance, but I was pretty disappointed.
Ate here for lunch and was welcomed/seated right away. Service was fantastic from start to finish.Once the meal was ordered, it came to the table quickly and looking quite appetizing. I d’ordre the spring rolls and the ginger beef which I must say they both were fantastic and highly recommend the ginger beef.I quite enjoyed my dining experience here and would go back.
I was looking for a different restaurant and happened to park across from the Cha Baa Thai restaurant. I was in a real hurry and so walked over to see if they could rush an eat-in lunch order – yes! So I ordered the #3 lunch special, vegetable green curry, and in 5 minutes my meal was in front of me! Their speed was incredible and that was just the first pleasant surprise. The curry was a delicious delight and came with a spring roll and large scoop of rice. The service was outstanding - friendly and accommodating. The server also recommended considering the popular #5 cashew tofu for my next visit, or the Masaman curry as it is considered comforting.
