Elias is an absolute gem. My sister and I came to Halifax for the first time and Elias made us feel so welcome. We got an excellent guide through the menu and a delicious gluten free banana bread to sample with our espresso while we waited for our choices. I got the gluten free option for the chicken and waffles and the taste and texture was stellar. We can't wait to visit again.
The food was great! I had curried goat and my partner had the bbq chicken. Elias the owner and chef was truly amazing. I don’t recall feeling so welcome in a restaurant before and he made the experience so special! He brought us the chocolate Nutella cheesecake which was to die for!! If you haven’t been there yet - just go!!
We had a great meal here on the patio seating of this local spot. They have a good variety of menu items, including all-day breakfast, and lunch specials.Our server was very nice, knowledgeable with suggestions and accommodating with alterations to our needs. He offered us a few items we were unfamiliar with that were very interesting.My jerk chicken was incredibly good! The jerk sauce was flavorful (with a decent amount of heat!) and the portions were great for the price.I'm glad we spent our lunch here
Incredible Caribbean style food and Elias is one of the most charismatic and accommodating restauranteurs I’ve come by. Highly recommend and they have an extensive gluten free menu!
We explored this place by chance and were truly amazed and astonished by the quality of food , its truly magical and you must try it once and am sure you will never forget the taste of the amazing food serve here. The owner was very welcoming and exceptionally good cook!! Highly recommended!!
My new favorite brunch in town!!!Elegant fusion of Caribbean and French cuisine, the owner Elias was absolutely the most amazing host I’ve seen. He really got to know all the guests and made appropriate recommendations before we ordered. He also treated us to banana bread and mango punch on the house. The bacon and chicken was so juicy on top of freshly made waffles. And I absolutely adore the sweet and savory taste with the pineapple slices and mango syrup. The mild spicy sauce also worked so well with waffle. It’s a shame that we were too full to try the Pain Perdu that Elias so strongly suggested as the best dessert. We would need to go back for more!

Had an absolutely delicious breakfast with excellent customer service. I had the Sweet and Sassy meal and the eggs were perfect. The homemade mango and jerk sauces were delightful, and we enjoyed talking to the owner about the restaurant and the food. I love small gems like this and would definitely come here again!
A friend and I discovered this beautiful little cafe today and had a most wonderful breakfast/brunch experience. Elias, the Chef/Owner made fantastic food - I would highly recommend the Breakfast Salad. The coffee, always an important consideration, was perfect, and served in cups with narrow rims that kept it hot longer. Elias himself was charming, obviously passionate about the dishes he creates. The ambience is perfect created by Elias in perfect taste and integrated with elements such as the menus, furniture, wall decorations, etc. A lovely find!
Service was amazing and the food was delicious. This little hidden gem is a must try for anyone looking for a great meal. The Mango Cheesecake is also quite possibly the best in town. We will be back very soon
