Great view of the harbour, good menu, good food, great live music. A fun place to spend your evening. Hope they work a little more on the service aspect of things.
Really friendly staff, they also do customized cocktails. Was a pleasure to be there!

We were in Halifax and our hotel was jam packed. Staff stayed to work, and they were run off their feet. Our group went during happy hour. Waited our turn, staff was fair and methodical in their service. Cordial even though there were tempers to deal with. We ordered from the happy hour menu and were not disappointed. Delicious fresh food and a great price. Thanks to the staff, you were amazing in the crisis.
We ate here because it is attached to the Cambridge hotel, however the food was underwhelming and slow.
First I have to say that Nicole Duffy, Manager of Canvas was a life saver as general parking in Halifax is next to impossible! She actually went to the Hotel Management and arranged a special parking spot for Diane and I. Then she made suggestions of wine and dinner options that we acted on and we amazed! Presentation, Colour, Taste and Temp were magnificent! Cheers Canvas and Nicole!!!!
