Our go to to for coffee! We currently live out west and have our mom ship out Lara’s coffee! Lara pays attention to details and her coffee roast selection is unlike any other! We are in love with her espresso blend and can’t wait to try more of her roast in the future ☕️ she also is an amazing and kind hearted business women who thrives on bringing the Halifax community together!Thank you always!
My two daughters and I had coffees and the breakfast sandwich. Service was prompt and friendly. I had the impression that a lot of people sitting in the cafe were regulars. This is very nice place!
Very cosy neighbourhood coffee shop with tasty treats and delicious coffee. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is very pleasant.
The most delicious grilled cheese I’ve ever had. And I would say it’s one of the best oat lattes around.
friendly staff, wide variety of pastry/mini meal options, beautiful windows/sunlight, bustling atmosphere during the day and very chill at night. also EXCELLENT espresso and coffee! great place to study or meet with a friend. overall really wonderful business! and im so happy it’s open until 6, most cafes around here close at 3 :(
By far the best cafe in Halifax. Great atmosphere, unpretentious and pleasant service, and amazing coffee! The food is great too. New to Halifax and already my go to!
Cute little cafe. With great chocolatines. I also ordered a chai latte, however they added wayyyy to much cinnamon to the point my tea was gritty. It tasted fine just a little too much texture for my taste. It gets quite busy so if you don’t mind a bit of background noise for studying it’s great.
My wife and I went in last week. Nice little café, good coffee, fun crowd. Good location, and outdoor seating for when it's nice. I think our only constructive criticism was that the staff seemed rather disinterested and tired. Maybe it was just a rough day. Café Lara is good for a visit!
