Friendly service
We stayed at the Marriot 3 nights and had our breakfast from this nice cafe every day. We decided to try one day and after that, we were hooked!Coffee was top notch, the sandwiches were amazing. We had the smoked salmon and also the ham one. They were delicious!I had almond latte every day...except for one day by mistake they made a capuccino instead and I had to come back to ask for more milk. I had a muffin the first day too but I was not impressed.The owner (I think) could use some smiles now and then...?. He was always so serious and some times looked even upset...maybe tired!Food and coffee is amazing and you can sit by the waterfront and enjoy!
Morning routine when I'm close: cappuccino and grilled Swiss and portobello breakfast sandwich (have to stop on the walk back to work because I can't wait to eat that beast.) Solid joint.
Service was fast and friendly, but the coffee was not that great overall. Worth walking to some of the other shops in the area if you can!
I ordered a latte made with oat milk which was delicious and hot. The wait wasn't long. I also ordered two muffins a blueberry and a raspberry, but I did not receive a raspberry muffin. Unfortunately didn't realize until later.Service was friendly and patient as I asked my 5 year old what he wanted.Overall I would go back for a coffee drink, but pass on the muffins as they were also dense and a bit dry.

Best coffe shop in Halifax!! Baristas are always great and the coffee is perfect every time! We visit Halifax every year from Ontario and I wint leave without stopping here!
