Great place to dine in! I mostly tried it for their bingsu and it was very delicious!
Ordered food on last weekend，the quantity of the food is less than before, and the price has gone up. I know that everything has gone up in price, but the quality should be at least the same as before.
Very quaint little restaurant. Had a feel of still under renos but I think it is finished. There was a hair in our sushi but the waitress took it off the bill no questions asked .. the shaved ice cream desert was amazing!
One of the best Korean and Japanese restaurants both in Halifax and Bedford with a variety of options available. The server when we went on August 21, 2021, was very kind and friendly.
If you’re looking for a place with good eats with kind and thoughtful staff this is the spot! My spouse and I often come here and we’ve always come out with full bellies and smiles. They have just renovated the inside and it is absolutely beautiful. 10/10 worth the visit :)
They are managed by new owners now and the food quality has gone down a bit. I used to love the Korean purple rice that they serve before but now, it’s just plain white rice that’s really dry. The Gam Ja Tang doesn’t taste the same anymore. The meat portion has become less. Even the Mango bingsu has fewer ingredients in it. Plus, they don’t use the plastic seal to make sure your take away doesn’t spill.
Let me start with the Mango Cheesecake shaved ice, this a must-try! The taste is great and the portion is big; it's even better than the famous desserts chain SM.Other than that, we ordered several sushi rolls salmon Teriyaki, and miso soup. The portions are so small and the taste isn't that good. The service was also bad, I had to go to the counter and wait for the waitress several times to get my order ready and to pay at the end.
First visit today, really enjoyed it. Nice quiet surroundings. Best sushi I've had in HRM. Korean tofu/seafood dish (K4 I think) was fab, as were the beef Udon noodles. Wouldn't choose the Korean hot dog/spam/beans dish again (K16 I think) but that's probably just personal taste, it wasn't bad. Spicy dishes had exactly the right amount of heat for my taste. Overall, very good - I'll be going again, which is probably the best recommendation anyone can give.
Waited in the restaurant for 15 minutes, no one showed up with no service and no water. End up leaving and chose another restaurant. Never recommend Arirang
