As a former worker in 'za and donair, I have to say this is the best donair I've had since moving to Fairview several years ago. The meat and pita were both lightly crisped on the grill, and not too much garnish. A win! Though I picked it up, I was pleased to note they are NOT using an expensive delivery service, which is rare. The family team was so great to deal with, too.
You can count on the consistency here. They always make amazing food and the prices match the portions and quality!

The must-try is this three-meat feat, piled with chorizo, soppressata and smoked bacon, plus fior di latte, mozzarella and a one-two punch of San Marzano tomato sauce and cherry tomato confit.It looks homemade—like it was lovingly prepped by someone who won’t be happy until you’re stuffed
In Halifax now so we had to switch which Alexandras we order from. My daughter is pretty loyal and always gets a large chicken poutine from here when we order take out.My youngest has had the donair poutine, chicken poutine, and steak poutine. Loves them all.My middle usually gets cheeseburgers or cheeseburgers and fries, and he said the burgers are really good!The workers are nice and my kids are always comfortable going there to pick up food!Sorry guys, for never remembering my phone number. Hahaha

Love Alexandra's Pizzas! Would give 10 stars if I could. Tried 3 locations now. Highfield Park, Grafton Street and this one. all delicious. Locally owned too. Let's support them people!
Ordered clubhouse and fries, and deep fried pepperoni.2 small piece of bacon in the sandwich, bread was badly burned, the fries were old, crunchy and cold.Pepperoni was way over fried, rock hard,inedible and cold. I live a 2 minute drive up the street from the restaurant. Food should not have been cold.My boyfriend picked apart the sandwich because he was starving. We also remembered what happened last time we had subpar food from here, absolutely nothing. Find somewhere else to order sandwich and fries from. Complete waste of $30.
I order the honey garlic chicken pizza and all I tastes was honey! It felt I was eating a pancake! Worst ever pizza

OMG! Had their special garlic fingers tonight, the ones with four cheese...never tasted garlic fingers like that EVER!!! You have to try them!!!!!
