I eat a lot of pizza. This is easily the most consistent and best pizza in Cole Harbour, possibly all of Dartmouth. Excluding the wood fired pizza here in HRM, easily top three in Halifax. Donairs are also excellent.NOTE: When Dave sold Tasty, there was a “short lived” dip in quality while the new owners adjusted, and now it’s quite possibly better then ever. Dave, good job passing the torch. Took an adjustment (no surprise) but Tasty is back and better then ever…well…at least as good…Dave ;)
Tasty Pizza was good before and the new owners are just as good. We only order from them donairs,fish & chips, pizza,onion rings. Last Friday night we were going to our camp early excited to pickup supper they weren't open I called them & asked when they would be open. 3:00 I told her we were in the parking lot and we would wait till 3. No she said we will start it right now. They could of made us wait.Best customer service! They took our order and provided another great meal. Thank you Tasty Pizza
This was once the best in all of HRM but the quality of the food has severely dropped off the face of the planet!My last order was cold, this order not cooked and the worst is the staff actually argue with me about my food well i have been eating here for 20yrs i know what the foods should tastw like DAVE fix your restaurant word is spreading around the food is garbage and I should have listened

When I was there this afternoon to get a pizza they were behind the counter no hair nets on no face mask on to prevent covid 19 it was very disturbing you think owning a restaurant you would take extra caution no one. This pandemic is out there and you don't want to get anybody sick and possibly set your business up for a lawsuit
If you're looking for consistently great pizza you should try Tasty Pizza. It has been a favourite of our family for many years.
I wish I wrote a review when Dave owned Tasty, which is since it opened. Well over 20 years ago until mid/late 2021 (unsure exactly). Dave and his family retired a number of months back and there is new ownership. They immediately cut costs by cutting quantity. I estimate there is now 75% less cheese and 50% less pepperoni/salami. Dave's pizza was never short on toppings. We have lived in a few spots in Dartmouth and Halifax, eaten at many locally owned pizza shops including the coasts highest rated. There are lots of good pizza joints in HRM but regardless of where we went, nobody beat Dave's Tasty Pizza. This new ownership saddens me. The pizza still tastes good and sauce is about the same but this is NOT Dave's Tasty. I honestly want to leave 3 stars but I'm adding one in for Dave's recipes. Sadly, I am hunting for the next best pizza and I fear that ship has sailed. Wishing Dave, his Wife and Family all the best in retirement. You've all worked hard for many years, through many storms, power outages, holidays, pandemic and more. Cheers Dave and hey "you want pop?!?!?"Edit: Pizzas now cold, it's paper thin. 3 stars. Great pizza and even greater garlic fingers with bacon. Delicious and zero complaints
