The food here was so delicious! Best tartar sauce I've had in a long time. Definitely worth a visit for good food at a really good price. And the service was great.
Had an absolute blast! July 16th was there for a show and it was like "going home" the moment you walk in the door. The owner was there are working and greeting everyone. The staff know everyone by name and are as saucy as your little cousin! oh! And the patrons?? I overheard a regular guy talking to someone and he was blowing & bragging about the place! As I sit eavesdropping I knew the schedule of events for the week!! it was great listening to him be so proud of his favorite pub. And I heard that conversation while I was digging for quarters so I could play Pac-Man!! Anyway, the Mrs. has the keys out so we got to hit the road back to Cape Breton, but I can't wait to go back again!

Atmosphere is pub like, but the food was extremely well done, and wonderfully priced! The owner is very kind, and there are plenty of board games and activities to keep you busy! We went around noon on a hot summers day and it was a lifesaver. Definitely a hidden gem! Will be back
Went here and it isn't the most polished place but we danced and drank and grabbed a pizza from across the road and had a good time on the Dark side

The burger looked amazing on the Burger Week selection. My friends and I came up to try it. First time in there, and from the get-go the waitress was straight up snarky and rude. We weren't feeling the vibe and I wasn't in the mood for confrontation, so when the waitress came to ask what we were eating, I said that I forgot I had other commitments and asked for the bill. She made a snarky comment calling me out on that, so I paid my bill and we bolted.Looking at the other reviews, others have seemed to have better experiences with the service. They must have been dealing with someone else (or this lady was having a really bad day). I used to work customer service jobs for many years, and always tried to uphold myself to the standards I expect from others. And I don't put up with rude service from others

C'mon, you're in Dartmouth at 1am on a Friday night. You've drank all the hoppy IPA you can stomach. It's time to go to staggers for an Olands and a game of pool. Perfect end to the night.
first time ever there, and I'll definitely be back.. the atmosphere is very friendly staff is amazing and Jackie Smith doing kareoke is fantastic
