Very cozy little pub, and for a suburban mall they have captured the Irish pub feel pretty well. We were seated quickly, so that was nice. There were several large groups so service was a bit slower than you would normally expect but it was still quite reasonable. Food was just ok. They had run out of burgers (all burgers) and the other two menu items we did get were somewhat bland. It was absolutely edible and we ate it all, so I want to be clear it wasn't bad. Just ok... Maybe because there are so many amazing reviews I was expecting more? Prices are decent so for a quick pub lunch while I was shopping in the area, I would probably be back to give it a second chance.
A friend recommended we do lunch here. Wow. I had a bacon-wrapped steak and a couple shrimp skewers. The shrimp were pretty good, but the steak was probably the tastiest I've eaten from a restaurant. The service was phenomenal also.We went for when it opened, at 1130hrs, and glad we did as it filled up quickly.Just a wonderful place.
Tara (assuming thats how you spell her name) is the best waitress/bartender I have ever met. She is an absolute sweet heart, and is the soul reason seamus davids has become my favourite spot to go to relax and have a moment to enjoy myself. The other girls there are very nice as well but Tara is a different level of customer service.
This place was recommended by pub owner in New Glasgow. I love pubs and was really looking forward to this place.Nice pub warm atmosphere..there were 4 of us.Beer and wine selection was decent .Two ordered the steak sandwich which was absolutely tasteless and I ordered med rare and got well done .Bangers and mash is not just Sausage and mashed potato.. where’s the onion gravy?Liver and onions smothered in cheap instant beef gravy.Only dessert left was sticky toffee pudding which normally is my favourite. It was covered with some kind of cream cheese and then the toffee sauce , I think ..We all agreed .. another failureI am giving one star for the only bright side of the evening and that is the server Brooklyn who was pleasant and very attentive ..I travel for work and eat out approximately 4 nights a weekOverall impression:Possibly the worse meal I have ever had .
Great service, drinks and food! The east coast knows how to do it !
Had dinner here Tuesday night, after hours of shopping at Dartmouth Crossing. We had onion rings to start, and they were delicious, fresh, and hot! All 3 of us had the Mighty Seamus burger and fries. Burgers were perfectly cooked, with lettuce, tomato, sautéed mushrooms, mozzarella, and a yummy dill pickle slice. The fries were amazing - I don't often order french fries, but so glad I did, as they were the best fries I've had in years!! The side of coleslaw that comes with it was delicious as well. Prices were really good, beer nice and cold, and the service was excellent. The pub's atmosphere was lovely with beautiful Christmas decorations and tree. Will definitely eat there again next time we are in town.
I know that times are tough but this is second Sunday in the last month that we were there. Waited over 20 mins each time to have our order taken and over an hour for our food. One dish came after we finished eating. She packaged it up and told us to tell her next time we were in a hurry. ?? I'm doubtful there will be a next time. We are completely aware of the pressures of the F&B industry but this is unacceptable
Nice atmosphere friendly staff.
Very friendly and accommodating staff! The atmosphere, food and service was excellent!
This was a nice pub. Nothing stood out to set it apart from other Irish pubs. Food was ok.
