Delicious, so so good, tasty, I ordered a cheese pizza and a small donair and let me tell you that donair and that pizza was huge!!!! It was so tasty, I got everything in small and it looked like a large! Awesome service everyone was so nice, I am definitely coming back
We were told the next time you go to Darmouth to try Robert's Donairs. They're the best! Well...we weren't disappointed! :) We ordered 2 mediums and a pound of donair meat. The donairs were so thick and full. The service was great! When we got back to the Annapolis Valley...my wife and I split one. Very Delicious! We are certainly looking forward to trying his pizzas. Thanks again!
I ordered an extra large pizza, it was the worst i’ve had. Way too much cheese, pizza was barely cut, the crust was soggy in the middle and hard on the outside, crust would rip and toppings fall off. I never leave complaints but when I called about it, the owner of the store wasn’t very pleasant and just explained that “people love their pizza.” Would not recommend.
Been living here since 93. Use to get Robert's all the time as I lived in the area. Got it today after many years as I do not live close. I was so pleased to see it is still as good as I remember and as insanely big as it always was. Taste and portions have not changed. Highly recommend Robert's for a true NS donair experience.
So sorry I used to love these... aside from the size and novelty, they tasted great.Most recent visit had the size and atmosphere (dartmouth) but the meat was like hamburger... missing that spices combination, maybe missing the mix of meat, texture.If uoure not from here, it would get you by BUT not good enough for a seasoned donair veteran.
Donair was so dry couldn't even chew it. Had no problem with that since had good donairs there in the past but when I call and asked them if they could replace it since the meat was dry and it was like chewing on a piece of rubber there refuse. So I refuse to ever do business there again.
Wow! To be honest the best pizza and Donairs I have ever ate in my whole entire life!! It's so good and delicious and the cheese on top of it is so good and delicious ? The employee were so kind and sweet and nice, They were very nice to the customers and asked them what they wanted nicely, Same thing with the owner his so nice and kind and generous!!! And I had a great time in Roberts pizza and Donairs, I'll honestly come next time :)Keep up the great work Roberts ?
Hadn't been back east in years and had to hit this legendary mega donair spot. Sauce and servers were fantastic!They served it open face, though and the meat was dry and oddly spiced. A few days later, I found out they haven't been paying for the original recipie. It made sense, since it tasted like gritty salt and pepper meat.**Update - It is also very possible my tastebuds have changed in the last 20 years. Owner says it's the same recipe as always. **Sad to experience that an epic, amazing donair spot has slid in the 20 years ince I had been there last.Super nice people, though!
I ordered a medium size Donair and it was huge! I have a big appetite but I couldn’t finish all of it. It was tasty and spicy just like a Halifax Donair should be. There was lots of sauce and they even threw in an extra cup of sauce on the side at no extra charge. The lady at the counter was genuinely nice to deal with and the service was quick. Will definitely return!
AMAZING! I went there with my family and had an amazing experience, from the services offered to the food. Every bite was absolutely delicious. 10/10.This is the best place in all of Nova Scotia, heck all of Canada!
