It is a McDonalds. However don’t use the drive through UNLESS you enjoy repeating your order to them 2-4 times. Don’t use the drive through as you’ll have to go in as they will forget items or give wrong items. The food is as is at every McDonalds. Service sucks, drive through sucks. Avoid at all costs

My family are in Dartmouth NS for vacation. We travel from ON for the past two weeks, able to order chicken in a box due to food allergies in several provinces, ON, Que., NB, and parts of NS but it is not available in McDonald's on 144 Main Street but it was available at McDonald's on Portland St. I thought McDonald's had all the same menu. We had a terrible experience on Main Street. Will not be going back.

I went to McDonald's to get a hot caramel sundae. There was very little syrup on the ice cream and they gave me a wooden spoon as I realized plastic is going out of style these days. I must say that while eating the Sunday all I could taste was The Wooden Spoon and it ruined my enjoyment completely.

First thing, an employee cut in front of us in line at the cashier. Not a clean table in the place to sit at. Had to choose the least dirty. Waited over 10 minutes for a wrap and McDouble Meal. Wrong size coffee was given and McDouble didn't have pickles. Other customers were bringing back messed up orders and waiting too long for orders as simple as a breakfast sandwich.

Extremely bad service. I was here during night time. I know it’s busy always. I wanted customize my burger but the guy denied that we don’t do that. I have worked at McDonald in past and we always let customer customize their order but he denied. Then, I had two orders one through app also. But when I went to window to pick my order he said I have to exit and drive thru again and wait in line to get another order which was just ONE small thing only. Poor service.

Honestly, if you value your time in the morning, go somewhere else. They have a terrible habit of putting staff who are not able to understand English well on the drive thru, making people ordering anything over 1 item have to repeat their order several times. It's not fair to the staff member trying to sort through this or the customer that just wants to get to work.

Staff do not listen and interject while placing orders, like they already "know" what you're going to say and try to complete your sentence for you. I cannot stand this. They have a serious listening problem. At the payment window, there was no "hello," or "thank you." Payment was made and the window was slammed without another word. I then got my order and had to wait 5 minutes in the reserved spot just for a latte. Waiting is fine. What is not fine is waiting 5 minutes and getting a bitter coffee - not even close to what lattes are supposed to taste like. Miserable, sad experience and extremely poor customer service. I do not look forward to returning to this location.

Grilled chicken was so dry you couldn't eat it. And apparently they can't wrap a wrap if their life depended on it

The drive thru is a double drive thru, and today at lunchtime there was only one person working both lanes. So when I pulled up to order, no one spoke, yet I watched THREE CARS in the other lane pull up and order and then carry on their merry way. Btw, I know the order box I was at worked because the car ahead of me had no problem. I pulled out without ordering and did not have time to eat lunch today. Terrible service. Stay away.

Two stars because I got a bag of food.The sausage breakfast sandwich had just an egg. No salsa for the burrito breakfast although it was requested. McDonald's has gone downhill in quality control unfortunately.If you want your order to be correct, you have to check it every time.
