Amazing pizza and great service!
After a poor experience at another local pub I felt compelled to express what great service and food I’ve had at Jacob’s. The meatball sub is unreal, the pepperoni pizza is one of those word of mouth things that actually lives up to the legend, and the wings are maybe the best in HRM. Their lights flicker a lot, but I won’t take a star away for that. Although, consider an electrician fixing that, haha.
Service is always impeccable, pricing is great .. allows me a couple extra Schooners ?I have had everything on their menu at least once, and it is all fantastic.My favourites are their wings, pizza, and meatball subGrew up in my my parents pizza shop, and I say Mike at Jacob's makes the best pizza around(meat lovers add Kalamata olives?)
Delicious food and amazing atmosphere..highly recommend
I was told that this place had the best pizza and wings, and I had to go. First thing is that this is a bar & not a restaurant. But i like sitting at the when I eat, so no big deal. Although thisbis bar food, it tasted fresher then many restaurants. I had 12 of the dry rub smokey wings, I would have tried other flavors, but there is no mixing, so it's 12 of one flavor. Too bad, because being alone makes it hard to eat 2 dozen of wings in one sitting. The fact that the wings are on the larger side makes it that more filling. How were they...GREAT. You can tel this is not a frozen product masked with a ton of seasoning. And the rub had a delicate blend of curry and smoked paprika. This is no store bought rub. The bartender, that ran the room like a boss, told me everything is made fresh, and it tasted like it. Next time I'm in Halifax, i will make it a point to try the pizza. Conclusion, i don't know if I would make it a family night out to eat, the environment is to Bar'ish, but I would love to watch the next UFC or Superbowl with friends while downing some drinks and eating wings. Keep up the good work
Great spot, fantastic wings and pizza. Location is conveniently situated in downtown Dartmouth, staff were friendly and welcoming. Definitely recommend Jacob's
Great place, fantastic drinks. Great bar selection as well. Overall had a great time. Highly recommend the blueberry mojito. Calamari and mozza sticks were very good as well. Highly recommend!!

Everything was made in house. The food was delicious! The company was even better, only good people. Great place for a date night or a family meal. Service was quick and personable, owner will probably be busy in the back doing the hard work. If you need a good night out this is the place!
What a fun spot in downtown Dartmouth! We had heard they had great chicken wings so a group of us popped in to check out the place and the menu. Everything was great! Fast service and friendly staff!
