The quality of the pork was simply amazing, you could tell that it was slow-cooked for at least five hours! However, the salsa left much to be desired. The staff member (who might also be the owner himself) was quite helpful and engaging! The little store is wonderfully decorated as well.Be aware that the quantity of food is small and there is no eating area in-store. The food is also a tad bit expensive (for reference, 15x more expensive as you would find similar-quality tacos for in Mexico City).If you want to try out the special menu item of the day, I suggest going early as they are quite popular and get sold out in the morning itself!
First time eating here after friends highly recommended. Everything we ordered was excellent! Honestly one of the tasty burritos I have had - unique and so incredibly tasty.Service from owner was also fantastic.Thank you ❣️

Sorry this place is a bit of a joke. The veg burrito basically had some lettuce, rice and about 5 mushrooms slices ? for 12 dollars? Not even refried beans as adverised either. At least be respectful to customers. The shrimp tacos were basically 2 shrimps on each with a few pickled onions and some hot sauce! 10.50.There wasn't even any salsa inside these things! I wish I had pictures. All together cost us 45 bucks.
Best burrito in HRM hands down.I will never buy a chain burrito again after finding this gem! This is a spot for people who want real food. Not just some chunks of meat coated in burrito sauce.The tortilla chips are next level. Freshly made with an awesome salty spicy kick.
1st timer and food was fantastic. Highly recommend! Loved that it was authentic! We had to try the Barbacoa and Chichironnes Burrito and nachos. We will be back!

I have never been to Mexico so I can't truly speak to authenticity, but I would bet that in our little corner of the earth this is as real as it gets. Just had lunch there and can 100% guarantee that we'll go back. Had the "Mexican chicken sandwich" lunch special and it was worth every penny, I've never had fried chicken with a crunch like that. My wife had barbacoa tacos and absolutely loved them. The owner was very friendly and the restaurant was immaculately clean, only downside is that it's take out only and there's nowhere to sit down and enjoy your meal. But with food that good I'll happily eat it in my car if need be.
The best authentic Mexican food I've tried in Halifax! Tacos come with an individual portion of fresh Mexican rice and the Burrito with homemade tortilla chips. Will definitely be back in the near future to try the other menu items! ?
Tacos were perfect, very juicy and satisfying. The salsa was ELITE. The nachos could have used more cheese sauce, but were still excellent. I would recommend this place to my family and friends.
