Myself and my wife ate at yellow Valley tonight, service was not good and the food was disgusting!!! it’s our anniversary and actually it ruined our night… Both of us are now feeling sick … never again definitely won’t be back !!!

Awful food. Awful service. Beer is mediocre with only one that was ok.two off us ordered different variations of the mussels. They arrived cold and with just a little sauce at the bottoms which wasn’t even good. Probably the worst mussels either of us had with no sauce on either. The burger was substandard and fish was no better than below average. Waiter missed one of our orders and we said never mind in light of how bad everything had been. The guacamole also was awful…l really this was one of my most disappointing dining experiences that I’ve had in a long time

We ordered two pizzas and it took almost two hours. One pizza was cold and the other was warm. I was very disappointed in the service.

One of our favourite places of the trip! I really wish YellowBelly exported their beer to other parts of the country because it's one of the best! Thankfully we were able to take some with us.My partner had the 5-sample flight and I had a margarita. We started with cheese bread, then I had chicken wings and my partner had the cheeseburger pizza. We finished things off with a lovely creme brulee. Everything was super tasty! The atmosphere was tons of fun and service was great!

I heard that the salt and vinegar fish and chips was a must-try, so I visited around 530 on a Tues to give it a try. It was somewhat busy, but not overly so. As mentioned in other reviews, it was quite a while before anyone acknowledged me. A group beside me come after me, and got their drinks before I'd even ordered. Once my order was taken, my food and drink came quickly - maybe too quickly. My fish was not cooked, so the server had it remade. Second try was worth it! Very good! The price for the food was reasonable, but the drinks were expensive. My fish was $14, and a small Caesar - maybe 10oz, tops - was $12. It was good, but not worth the same as the food.Anyways, I'm glad I went. The bartender was very friendly once she got talking when other guests left, and the building is really neat.

Just called in for a beer, good atmosphere and by the look and smell of it good food. Took some beers away for testing ;) Would definitely return if I am ever in the area.

They had a staffing issue and the person who took our order walked out of the restaurant and went home, we were left out on the patio as it got colder - it happens, I would give them a second chance

If you're looking for a cheaper menu than average then this place is good; however, the pizza was not very tasty, the fish and chips are breaded with panko and must have been deep fried in old oil because they were black and tasteless that I dug out the fish and left the batter. The fries were not your typical fries with fish. None of us finished our dinner except 1 person who had chicken wings - can't go too wrong with wings I guess. But again, the menu prices were really good.

Wow… the building itself is so beautiful worth going in just to see it…. Central location right downtown St. John’s… has two patios for when the weather is nice! Staff very friendly and knowledgeable! Had a flight and the beer was great! Also enjoyed clam chowder soup, but the pizza also looked very good!! Make sure u don’t miss out on the underbelly… adult only Lounge… so Amazing feels like u are in a totally different place!

Tried their beer at the airport and it was an excellent coffee porter- had to visit the brewery. It’s a great bar and quintessential public house, with all different types of places to sit. Everyone seemed genuinely happy to be there, staff included.
