We were visiting Newfoundland for 16 days and Piatto Pizzeria was the first place we went for supper and the only one we went back a second time at the end of our trip. The food is delicious, the service is courteous and fast. Everything and everyone was great. Wish there would be a Piatto Pizzeria in our neighbourhood.
Our server was wonderful! I wonder if you would ever consider growing your own basil? A little pizza place in the eastern townships outside montreal had rows and rows of basil in front of the kitchen. Smelled amazing as well!
My friend and I had a great meal - food took a long time to come out but as itâs Piatto at lunch time canât be surprised. However our server - I believe her name was Victoria - was fabulous. She was so pleasant and enthusiastic at her job. I overheard her serving several other tables while we were there and the whole time she had a great attitude. I wanted to leave this review in hopes sheâll see this and know how her positivity was radiant and she brought a smile to my face.
Great meal and good, friendly service. We would have liked to eat outside. It it was reserved tables. A little loud for 5 people talking.. would definitely go again.
This pizza place has a nice outdoor patio. We ordered the Stephanie, Funghi e Gorgonzola and Piero pizzas.The pizzas are made fresh in a wood oven and this adds a smoke flavour to the food. However, the crust was too chewy for me which was quite disappointing.The service was quick but the waitress forgot to bring us the extra sauce that we requested!
Piatto's quality has really gone downhill. Unfortunately this was my last time here, after many, many visits.I hadn't eaten here in a while, as recently my pizzas have been getting a bit gross. So I thought I'd give it one last shot. Well they missed that shot. The hostess and server we're both disengaged and rude. The server handed us our food and said "Okay enjoy" while walking away and laughing at something. The pizza itself came fast and was hot and fresh but that's the only good thing. The toppings were falling off of my pizza and I lost most of them. The crust was super soggy and wet. It just wasn't good. I could probably make a better pizza at home if I'm being honest. This used to be a great place for pizza, but not anymore. Hopefully blaze pizza that's opening on Kenmount road will be better.
While it was my worst experience at piatto is was still good. The table was a bit cramped as they have a few tables very close together, the service was okay but the food came out quick. I was left disappointed by the pizza I had but nonetheless Iâll still be back as I usually enjoy piatto!
We love Midway Piatta, but our server was terrible last night, inattentive, she didn't check in on us at all, our waters were empty for at least 30 minutes. Our food came from a runner and our actual server never even checked to see if things got there or were okay.
Overall positive but for a table of 4 everyone received their meal while I waited an additional 10 min to receive mine.
Excellent as always.
