Nice cozy little gem of a place! Asian comfort food made vegetarian. Come hungry as the portions are very generous! Owner is very friendly and attentive. I would recommend for any vegetarian and non-vegetarian eaters alike! ?
The owner was so nice and food was really good with big portion! He first served us a bowl of soup and let us try some of his home made sauces before even giving us the menu. The soup was super refreshing and fragrant! Also, I was surprised to find a vegetarian place like this because the owner and his wife made almost everything from scratch: sauces and “meats”. There is not a lot of authentic Asian food here so I was surprised to find a restaurant like this! Loved it! And if you think that vegetarian food is not filling, well I’ll assure you that you won’t because the portion was huge!
The owner is extremely nice and warm. We enjoyed the awesome tea (and yes the top quality loose leaf tea and not the tea bags).The food price is very reasonable and the portion size is more than enough for you to have both dinner and leftover for next day. Try their special source - the spice one and the salty ones are great!
Wow!! I ducked into this restaurant on a cold windy day and was immediately greeted with hot tea, soup and handmade sauces. I ordered the dumplings and singapore-style fried rice and both were absolutely delicious. I received huge portions at super-reasonable prices, and the server was warm and attentive. This place is wonderful - I wish I lived nearby so I could eat here again and again.

Amazing little place! I get the crispy noodles almost every time! The portion size gets bigger each time I visit! Free green tea, complimentary daily soup and some small lentil appetizers on the house before I even place my order. I usually warm up quickly on a cold day once inside. Prices reasonable, friendly man server and his wife run the show. Never can finish and will take home the rest. Free candy and chocolates on the way out. Today he even gave us four clementines to take with us! Don’t change a thing Peaceful Loft! See you next visit :)
This is by far the best restaurant in town, 10/10 food with 10/10 service! I recommend to everyone to try it! I’ve been a consistent customer for months and I’ve never been left down :)
Had a fantastic experience! The owner is so hospitable. It feels like eating at someone's home. The food price, taste and portion were all outstanding! One of favorite places to eat in St. John's.
Wonderful restaurant! I am gluten intolerant and they have an excellent GF menu. Large portions, fresh tasty food that is so reasonably priced! The owner is such a beautiful person, so friendly. Definitely coming back!
