We had a wonderful experience at the Topsail Road location today. Our server was incredible, the food was fast, well cooked and delicious.
Jungle Jim's is a family friendly sports bar franchise with a Jungle Theme. They usually have a large aquarium in the main area. The jungle theme is mostly conveyed thru bamboo and frond leaves, but there is some generic tribal mask imagery as well. The food portions are large, and there are several dishes meant to be shared, such as the Kitchen Sink, which is served in a sink. The food is classic American Fried but well executed. The bar is extensive with lots of mixed drinks. One of the few places that mix kids, sports and a good bar, without really compromising.
We had a booth for the 4 of us, we were very well catered to! Our 2 boy's were very well looked after by the staff, we had a fantastic time and that's thanks to the great food and great staff! Highly recommend if you haven't, we will certainly be back !
Had a pretty damn good steak there to celebrate a birthday. Really juicy and tasty for a $30 meal. Would recommend.
I had stopped going to Jungle Jim's a long time ago with the reason being that the food was not good. Once every few years I would stop in, find the same and would not come back for a few years.I did that recently again and the difference in the food quality was markedly better. In fact it was absolutely delicious and it was such a good time for my pre-schooler.The atmosphere was so good for younger kids with all the bamboo decorations and what not too.As well, the staff were very polite and friendly and the place was clean as can be.There was a lot of variety on the kids menu and the price of the kids menu was not even remotely expensive.The price points on the rest of the menu food was excellent too for today's market.The following week I took my family to a different Jungle Jim's and the experience was equally great.So happy to now have a great easy going family restaurant to go to regularly!Whatever they did to improve it certainly is showing and we will be back again and again if it stays this way.P.S. Beer served in an ice cold beer mug is awesome!

Over the past several years JJ's has always been a solid last minute pick. As per usual the staff and food delivers but I can't help but notice how the menu prices keep rising and the portion sizes lowering. Exspecially in regards to the desert menu. I will however always return for their Bbq'd taquitos they are to delicious to turn down.
Ordered via phone - Sue took our order. When we picked our food up, Sue did a fantastic job! She ensured our order was correct when the kitchen made a few mistakes (everyone makes mistakes)!!She checked and gave us extra for the delay! We really appreciate her dedication and patience with the kitchen and us!Thank you so much Sue!!P.s. there was a lovely employee off shift sitting at the bar. She made for great conversation and friendly face! We did not get her name but I wanted to mention her as well, because she did make our experience all that much better while waiting!
We are repeated eaters here at Jungle Jim’s. (This is our 6th or 7th time here.)Among some stuff we absolutely love here are the ribs and steak, Jungle Trio, honey garlic chicken, fish and chips and coleslaw salad. Their food is always fresh, flavourful and perfectly cooked. Their servers are amazing too.Lovely ambiance, great food and beautiful humans! So this place is highly recommended!
