Desi meal provides great comfort for the people of Bangladesh, Pakistan and India as they have supplies spices of the subcontinent. The restaurant attached is great. The food is tasty and enjoyable. Environment is clean and they maintain health rules and safety measures.
Lot of variety of Indian products & friendly staff but cooked food is below par. Plus stuff is a bit pricy
Great food as always. But what makes them set aside is the friendly behavior of the owner making you feel like at home. Doesn't get better than that with added tasty food

Everything is expensive here compared to other South Asian groceries. I bought 1 litre Mustered oil for $16 and the next day I got that one with half price from Dominion.
Amazing food that is available for Skip the Dishes and allows you to order online! Their Tandoori Chicken, Beef Biryani, and Butter Chicken is great!
As a local guide I seldom give five star which this facility compelled me by their wonderful behavior and the food. The taste is good and the quantity is great. This is a favorite spot of all the students. A meal plan is also available.
This is the best place to get authentic indian and pakistani food in not only St. john's but all of Newfoundland and Labrador. The prices are competitive and ingredients are always fresh. The owners and staff always welcomes you with a smile.Alongside they also have a mart where I buy all of my ingredients whenever I cook south asian.
I love going to Desi Meal restaurant and one of the primary reasons is the good ethics and friendly staff there and the food too is good.
