This is definitely one of the best places I've ever been for breakfast been for breakfast the lady who greeted us was incredibly lovely sat down Freddie lovely sat down I asked for an omelette and pancake she said out pancakes she said out here we don't know if you can eat that much really really good customer service food was incredible food was incredible if I'm ever in this part of calendar again in this part of calendar again I will definitely be going back to this restaurant Really good value 12 eggs in an omelette mind blowing
We were vacationing from Alberta. We had breakfast here every morning and had lobster supper one night. The food is amazing! I never ate the same meal twice, as there was such a great selection to choose from. The staff was so friendly and personable. Ashley our hostess was a complete doll. Highly , highly recommend!!!!
Holy delicious food! We had the Fish & Brewis, and the newfie beans and toutons. Flavors were great, service was what you expect from newfoundland: friendly and lovely. I wish we had found this place sooner so we could have visited more than once.Coffee was smooth as well!
While our breakfast was lovely this morning, and I always enjoy the food at Bagel Cafe. Our server was not friendly at all, and made it seem like we were inconveniencing her. Firstly, while taking our order she was told that my order would be separate from my parents, they ordered their breakfast with which my step mother ordered a whole wheat bagel. Then I ordered mine, and asked if I could substitute a touton in place of the toast; in a very rude tone she said " it's extra but if you want you can" so I finished my order and she asked how I wanted my toast.... to which I replied, I'll have a touton in place of the toast. she replied "I already got that" when she returned we realized that my step mother had forgotten to ask for cream cheese for her bagel, so I asked if we could please get some. Instead of simply replying yes she says... well she didn't order that did she? We said no she hadn't but she would like some. When she came back with the bill, everything was on the one bill not separate as I had asked, she dropped the machine on the table and said, I'll leave that there for you and walked away. I paid the bill, and I left a tip ... not for her but I know kitchen staff gets a share. The food was great, the experience not so great.

Delicious breakfast food and nice atmosphere! It's a little crowded at times but the decor is unique and interesting to look at. It's got a fun vibe that you can't help but love. The hashbrowns are usually really good, and are one of the reasons I keep coming back.Sadly, the prices here are just insane, and even though the food is good, it's hard to justify coming back... no one wants to pay over 60$ just for a breakfast for two.

My family and I went to the Bagel Cafe to enjoy a nice morning out. It was our baby’s first time going out to eat solids, so it was a special moment for us. Right away we were treated very poorly. The lady serving us sat us in the back corner and was extremely rude. I asked for a high chair and she seemed annoyed by that. I then asked if we could be seated somewhere more open because I could clearly see other vacant tables. She quickly dismissed me. The only thing that saved us from leaving was the kind manager that served us after. I am confident that he saw how poorly we were being treated. As did other customers around us. He did his best to make us feel welcome there. The food wasn’t great and the coffee was sadly cold. Sadly in the end, the lady was the one to bring us our bill. She pretty much threw it on the table and then said just leave my copy there when you are done and walked away. No “have a nice day” or anything. We are very friendly people and we understand how busy the food service industry is. But this is a time that we felt like we got the worse possible service. We feel that it was not family friendly there and some serious improvements need to happen. If you are going out for a nice breakfast with your baby or young children we recommend for you to not to go to the Bagel Cafe. We will not go there ever again.
Went there yesterday for Brunch, as our usual spot is temporarily close. So we thought we would give Bagel Cafe a try. Service was terrible, food was cold and over cooked. How can you be have a restaurant that specializes in breakfast food and don’t have a cook that knows how to cook and egg! The price you pay is outrageous! I don’t mind paying for good food and service but this place had neither. I will not be returning!
