Hubby had a hankering for the bacon wrapped scallops, so we ordered that and the spinach and crab dip while sitting on the patio. Area is under construction but looks like they are doing their best for the interim. Was a little disappointed in the crab dip as didn't taste any crab, mostly spinach and found it on the salty side. In the past we've always been impressed by the Ale House but found it just okay this time.
Waited over an hour after ordering. Lots of staff and not busy so couldn't understand why the wait. Her chicken was like rubber, my mussels were good. They did not charge for hers to make restitution. They did have a large selection of craft beers. I was hoping for better from a recommendation.
Located in the Market Square area just down and across the street from our hotel, the Delta Brunswick. Great variety of craft beers. We ate upstairs and had a great time. Very casual and laidback atmosphere. Menu variety is more than adequate. Prices reasonable. Highly recommended, especially if you are looking for a wide variety of beer choices.
Just steps away from the Hilton Saint John, you'll find one of the most delicious and awesome spots to dine along the waterfront.
I can not put into words how much I loved the food. I wanted to order my salmon again to have more have the first bite. It was so good. Molasses on salmon!!! Order it !!The drinks were amazing too!My buddy order's the same drink everywhere and he said this was one of the best he ever had.As someone who eats everywhere from Niagara falls to St Jphn. This place is easily in my top 3 all time.EAT HERE !!!! It puts Montreal and Toronto restaurants to shame!

Our basketball team was in SJ for a tournament. We booked last minute for 25 people and they were very accommodating. I ordered the burger of the week with a side of nachos. The nachos were like kettlechips instead of the normal tortilla chip, they were good. The burger was delicious and I washed it down with a Maritime pale ale. Recommend going if your in the area.
Totally in awe of all the taps. Vast Menu of local beers which we came in to experience, also included were some from other provinces. So many choices for your taste, good luck trying them all lol. Large patio outside along water, we sat at bar inside and watched the bar staff and servers in constant motion. There is a food menu but we didnt eat, saw some good smelling seafood dishes being served. Definitely a place you should experience if in town
We enjoyed our visit here. The food was the best meal that I had in the 3 days I have been exploring PEI and NB so far. The service was excellent and even helped with questions we had about touring the area as well as recommendations of places to see. They were even able to confirm the potatoes were from PEI after we couldn't find any mashed potatoes at any of the restaurants we stopped at in PEI. Thank you!
