Update to review, conversations with the GM of this restaurant did got well at all so I have changed my 2 start review to a 1 star. Extremely disappointed in a venue I use to love frequenting, to bad really.Well as a department at the SJRH we attempted to get take out as we have so many time before from Britt's Rockwood yesterday, the man that answered the phone refused to take our order stating that they aren't a 'take out' restaurant. I was honestly shocked I still can't believe that our order was refused. I guess Britt's has gotten so big it is now able to refuse orders from regular faithful customers. Job not well done.
Last year, we ate here and it was awesome ! But since, something has changed and it's very disappointing. All the meals was too much salty. Poutine was not the sam, something changed in the poutine and there was not enough gravy. Fried Pickles was too big in size of pickles. Tacos was too salty and fried chicken didn't taste anything except salt. In general, a big big big disappointment for us when last year we though we found THE PLACE...but now it's a no for us. For nearly 200$ of meals...it's not worth it !

My husband & I were directed to Britt’s when looking for a place to have afternoon cocktails. We sat at the bar & Carrie was our bartender/server. She was so friendly & made some excellent drinks! We enjoyed our experience so much we returned later in the evening for dinner. Our server at that time was Emily and she too was incredibly friendly. My husband had the Turkey poutine & he still talks about how good it was! Once again the drinks were also great. This is a great place for food and drinks and the staff is incredible.
Britts has the best food, I’ve loved everything I tried there, my most recent visit my waitress was Vanessa & she was amazing, knowledgeable, helpful, attentive.Love the atmosphere & all the wonderful staff, thanks Britts for another great dining experience ??
Service was very observant for any requests. The meal itself was delicious, hot, and well presented. Portions were generous, but not overloaded with fries. I would like to go back again and check out the dinner menu.
Have been to Britts many times and is always a good experience. Prices are reasonable and service is great. Can sometimes be busy on peak days in summer. Food is also excellent, would recommend anything on the menu. Will return!

I’ve been a regular at Britts for years but this location’s chef changed a year ago and it’s been going downhill. From cold food, odd portions.. I mean it’s not terrible but definitely not coming back. I’ve tried to give it a chance today (ordered the breakfast poutine), my plate’s hollandaise was thick, eggs were not cooked to what I ordered, and it was cheese.. like I could count the hashbrowns. It looked delicious but :(
