While Jean's might not look like the fanciest places, if you want great food at a reasonable price, it it definitely worth a visit. We were there and each ordered something different. All the meals were delightful. The staff was great. I would return in a heartbeat!!

07/12/22 5:45pm My wife has just recently had heart surgery and we went into the restaurant with masks on. We asked the server if it would be possible to have a server wear a mask for the extra protection. Waitress said you “don’t have anybody with a mask” and smirked. Thanks for nothing. I’m hoping the server was the one who made this decision not Management. Never again!
Great service, friendly staff, good food. What more can you ask. Close to the major. Motels and the highway.
Wow. What fantastic food!!! Had the fish and chips, turkey dinner, and turkey clubhouse. Hot well made fresh food. Tony, our server was very nice and accommodating!!! Drinks were fresh and cold too! If you are looking for a reasonably priced place to eat with large portions, and tasty home cooked food this is the place to be!
Very bright, comfortable restaurant, a little noisy but fine. Delicious food, reasonable prices, good service! Fast service and friendly.Great selection of pies made right in the restaurant, recommended the peanut butter pie!! Delicious
My friend and I were looking for a nice lunch place before we went to the Hopewell Rocks and this place was recommended. It was fine- the waitress/bar tender was very friendly and gave us some recommendations. We both ordered the seafood chowder which was full of good seafood and was very tasty. We had recently arrived in the area and decided to try the classic poutines which we were not impressed with, not having grown up with them.
This restaurant is a old person magnet. If you’re looking for a good affordable meal you might as well search through a dumpster (not theirs). They deep fry their bacon and put the whole stick of butter on the toast , not to mention the coffee tasted so watered down. even the water tasted odd. There was nothing about my meal that I couldn’t have done better at home including the atmosphere. I was feeling sick the whole drive home probably because the food was indigestible. 0 out of 10 do not waste your time and money at this restaurant.
The place was very clean, very! I went early and decided to have Eggs Benedict. I choose soft eggs. I thought I was going to get a soft yolk, but the whites were very runny. But it still was delicious. Since no one asked me how I liked my meal, I told the girl who I paid for my meal at the front counter about the eggs, mentioning the meal was good. I don't know, maybe I'm picky, but it would have been nice for her to say she'll mention it to the cook, instead, she said maybe next time I should have the eggs medium. I felt as though It was my fault . But how would I know the cook didn't know that soft benny's didn't include runny whites.
It is the ONLY restaurant that gets my eggs right every time no matter how busy they are. Because every single restaurant I have eggs in does not understand how to make eggs over medium. This place kills it EVERYTIME! I hope they continue to do so. Thank you chefs!The servers are wonderful too! Phyllis in particular is outstanding! A must stop if you’re in town.
