This is one of my kid's favourite place for food and we're here once every few months, typically on Tuesdays as it's 2$ kids meal, such a good deal.This time we showed up later for dinner and was seated and served in no time at all. The service was super friendly, big smiles, light conversations and checked on us twice just at the right time. I had the Penne Pasta with a Diet pop while my son had the Spaghetti off the kid's menu with a Shirley Temple to accompany it. I think we were a little starved as we went through two mini baguette which always comes warm and free. The food was hot and tasty. The Sausage, peppers and sauce all had a little kick which I absolutely enjoy. I bit into the big pepper too, because I love heat. My son just loved the spag, he just devoured the whole thing. He said he'd probably have it again. Personally I would grade the food as a large step above generic but of course not fine dining, but my son absolutely loves it, so that is reflected in the overall review.They have a good atmosphere, the place is clean and it makes for an overall very pleasing dining experience. It can get pretty busy and loud, such as it was then, even at 8pm on this Tuesday. That was most likely because of the cheap kids deal. It's not the ideal place for an intimate dinner, certainly more the family dining restaurant. My wife and I have been here as part of a date, but only because it's so close to Cineplex and it's a good stop for a bit of food before hitting the movie theatre. You can also collect Scene points here so another small bonus!So all in all, it's a great family dining restaurant that we always highly enjoy. I have never had a bad experience so we keep coming time and time again.
We had lunch there on July 18th, 2022. This place no mater which on you go to in Canada never seems to disappoint.The food is top notch & service is great. You will never leave paying a fortune & still feeling hungry. The portions are awesome, I had scallop linguine & had enough left over for my supper that night.The endless supply of warm bread & large salad while you wait for your main meal to be prepared is enough to fill you. Pricing is very reasonable to say the least.
Food is awful. I got a wrap and I left half of it. My children had a pizza, way too much cheese. They liked it. I will not be coming back the food is garbage I regret not cooking and being lazy. Lesson learned.

I took my daughter for her birthday meal after a movie May 30/22 and was sorely disappointed. Her meal (cappelletti) was under cooked and my lasagna was inedible gummy and mealy. After trying, I could not eat mine. The waitress made no offer to replace my choice or reimburse the cost for the unsatisfactory meal. Nor did she acknowledge my daughter's birthday! The waitress was a nice girl but whether she could not hear over the loud music/noise in the restaurant or just didn't care about our experience, it left me nearly $50 out of pocket and no desire to return anytime soon. As a senior on limited income, I value a rare meal out and have high expectations for taste, service and cost. Too bad because East Side Mario's used to have a darned good lasagna!

We had a lovely experience dining, the food was very good and portions were awesome. Our servers were Mel, and Naomi, they were fantastic both laughing with us, and checking on us as well as making sure we had everything we need. We appreciate them making our dinner experience excellent!
My partner and I had a wonderful meal here! Great friendly service and very short wait times. We made a reservation for a Friday night dinner and it was extremely easy to check in and walk right to our table. Many delicious gluten free options to choose from in their starters, entrees, and desserts. We’ll definitely be coming back again for another date night!
I should have know when we're told they are "out" of soup to run. This particular location had 1 server working the section we were sitting in (24 guests , 8 tables) Our appetizers came out slowly, cold and with missing ingredients. It took so long for the entrées that we actually didn't receive them, we left with the bill. The manager stood by and watched when I asked the server to just cash us out. I was friendly towards the server as she apologized over and over and I said to her "honestly is ok it's not your fault". Two definte thumbs down, we will not return to this location.
