As soon as we walked in, we were greeted with a warm smile. Nice, clean, and cozy atmosphere. The drinks are tasty.
I was there yesterday.I was there because in our country, this kind of style coffee is very popular.so want to try this in Canada. Usually, You can pat the cat, and you can feel the cat, either in China or Japan. Here in this spot you have lots of restrictions.Cats: not friendly, not moving. And when there are no cat left in our spot for the rest of 40 minutes, the staff don’t do anything about it. We are there for cats, not for just sitting there with no cats.Coffee: fine not super good.I think they want to learn from the way that other country do the cat coffee, but it is totally different. I would rather stay home with my own cat and I can feel whatever I want, I can pat as well.the spot: is not big. And only allow in certain sections due to COVID.The funniest thing is, they charge adults $7 for watching cats they charge children $5 under 12, and they even charge baby $5 who is only one year old and still in Mom’s holding to watch the cat as well!
Very nice place great service plus kittys
Nice to have an option other than Tim Horton’s for a coffee stop on the northside. The staff are always welcoming and knowledgeable about their products. The kitties are naturally a bonus :) Hope you guys don’t have to shut down the cat room again!
About 15 minutes before my booking with the cats was over, I bought a tea in a paper to-go cup for like 6 or 7 dollars. By the time I had to leave, my tea had just cooled down enough for me to start to drink it. The Manager wanted me to throw out my tea to leave. You can not bring drinks from the cat room into the cafe room (weird but fair enough). The rule is not stressed very much going into the cat room. Other options like letting me out another door was too hard for the manager to bother, even though the other employee said it would be super easy. A new tea or a refund was also not an option. I was told to not come back, frankly, I don't think I would want to. I feel bad for the cats writing this because lots of cats get adopted here, but a good cause is not a free pass to treat people poorly.
Cute store front. The drinks and sandwiches were average. You can buy time in the cat lounge which had 14 cats the day we were there. This is for your relaxation or to get to know a cat to adopt. The lounge has lots of play and sleep area for the cats and seems to be clean. Not my first pick for eating in since I have mild allergies but cat-enthusiasts will enjoy it.
Wonderful little place! Choice between watching the cats through a window sipping a delicious hot beverage or actually sitting with the furry cuties and getting cuddled by them! A small and very reasonable fee is required to sit with the cats ?. Highly recommended place!
love grabbing a chai and petting the cats. Fantastic service!
The host was friendly and helpful; drink was delicious, and the cats were entertaining. A great concept that is well-executed. Thanks for the unique experience.***edit: Even if cats are not your cup of tea, go here for your premium beverage of choice. Better than Starbucks or Second Cup and you are supporting a wonderful local organization.
Highly recommend going for a visit at the Cat Cafe. The coffee was excellent and spending time with the cats was so therapeutic. I love the fact that the cats are free to do what they want and they're not stuck in a cage all day, we need more cat cafes in the world. ❤
