I had the Southside Shake and the Dream of New Brunswick, because I have enjoyed the New Brunswick Gins immensely.My meal from the Pickle Jar was great, except for the Veggie Burger. I couldn't finish it because of the taste of the Patty, and no condiments being present... However, the Pimento Cheese Dip was lovely, except for it is served with too many grilled pitas. The accompanying house salad with corn and cranberries, was perfect! And I never have desert, but the Pink Lemonade Cheesecake with Strawberries and Blueberries was yummy!I would definitely recommend this place for the service, cocktails, appetizers, tapas, and deserts!

Service is great. Open late till 11pm when most of the restaurants around the area close at 9. Good selection of food options on the menu and alcohol. If you are sharing all the food including the mains, and you prefer your food absolute fresh and hot, the server is more than willing to bring out your dishes as soon as they are ready (instead of waiting until all dishes are ready to serve the mains together).The mussel with dill cream sauce is really creamy, I can almost drink all the sauce by itself. The portion of Philly cheese steak is loaded with cheese and mushrooms, there is a lot of steak too. The proton is really huge that it seems like double the size of some cheap restaurants. Striploin is done well to my liking. You can almost feel the tender texture comes from dry age process. The only thing I am appointed is the fried smoked pork belly on the tapas menu. It is just too dry, and the pork is way too small inside the thick breading. Basically, you can't taste anything other than the dried breading. If it weren't because of the sweet hot sauce, I would not even put a second piece in my mouth.
I came into this Hotel Style restaurant expecting a typical hotel style experience with staff. This meaning "big city" type attitude, this was absolutely not the case. I had the bartender vigilantly ask for my order. Thia was accompanied by other staff being very approachable and comfortable to be around.Definitely would recommend.Lalit amazing as a bartender and made me feel more than welcome.
I was recently staying at the Hilton Garden Inn in Fredericton and must say that Hari Chapa at the Southside Shake is phenomenal. I visited the bar a few times, and Hari provided outstanding service: friendly, great conversation, excellent bartending skills. He even provided us a discount card at Maxwell’s restaurant even though it was in another hotel, and recommended the surf & turf - it was delicious! Many thanks to Hari for making our stay a much more memorable experience, and the main reason that I’ll definitely be returning there. Mark
Enjoyed a wonderful meal sitting of the protected patio. Food was great. I would recommend the poutine and soup. Delicious! The interior is updated and very comfort. Serve was great.

We had drinks and a very nice meal here. Hari mixed a couple of great cocktails. Very comfortable and friendly atmosphere. The steak and the chicken club we had were delicious, and the steak perfectly cooked. We are definitely looking forward to another visit.
