This place is so good & very reasonably priced. I came to eat here 2 days ago & legit went back yesterday because of how good it is. The donair is sooooo tasty & the pizza too!
Terrible! They advertised a “ deal”, then did not honour it. They did not include utensils even though they were aware of delivery a hotel. Bizarre!
Wouldn’t recommend ordering via Skip or Doordash. Food arrived quickly and the pizza looks like a pile of wet slop in the box. It has literally soaked through the bottom of the box!
When our dinner plans fell through we needed something quick to feed the fam. Jack's had decent pizza! Nothing fancy but great when you just need some pizza to satisfy. Service was great!
One of the better deals in town for price:size. There are plenty of bar stool chairs around the place to sit down for a slice, but not to dine in with a group. The 12" garlic fingers definitely needed more cheese, but the flavour was still there. The pizza itself is also a fairly standard late night, bar street pizza joint meal. I had the meat trio pizza, 16". They also do pizza by the slice which I assume becomes the best thing ever for those leaving the bars.Put on top they have donair and shawarma and desserts and nachos and wings and more, it's a nice place tucked away in the corner of the bar area.
I'll give them the extra star for how they used to be. From about 2007 to 2016 they were great and had great prices but about 2018-19 they jacked their prices up and for the quality it's just not worth it anymore. Which is sad, because they were my no.1 pizza place for well over a decade but not anymore. The quality is now very hit or miss, sadly it's more miss and I know they have cut back on toppings which is kind of shady considering the price increase. $36 for a 16 inch pizza and 12 inch garlic fingers without delivery is a rip off. I've read the other reviews before I wrote this so I know I am not the only one who has stopped ordering from Jack's. I understand especially in these times how hard it is to be a restaurant. However There's a point where quality and price meet and sadly Jack's quality and the price no longer are worth it.
good pizza and fast service ? ?
This dodgy little spot has a lot of history, especially in price increases. There is little to no quality control in the pizza slices, if you aren't there at 1 am you aren't getting a fresh slice. I have been sold a $6 slice of pizza that snapped in half int he middle of the afternoon. The staff is always friendly and definitely a group of hard workers. Definitely order ahead and try to pick up a fresh pie, it is worth it for the fresh oven quality. For sure has one of the worst bathrooms in fredericton but it has been closed to the public for a long time.
Don’t order if you actually want to receive your food. Waited over an hour for delivery and called to be told the delivery guy hadn’t even picked up our order yet and it’s now been 2+ hours and they’re closed and no longer answering the phones. Ridiculous
Best darn pizza in town. Especially after a night of drinks in the tannery, couldn't ask for a better treat. We ordered out today for pickup, but they have fresh slices that are always delicious. Thanks Jack's, you guys rock!
