I bought the special at Chong's Place at Brookside Mall today for $15.99 plus tax. It was terrible. It was chow mein ( it was tasteless boiled bean sprouts and not much more was in it, rice ( was so dry and tasteless I'm sure it was yesterdays), 4 of the smallest chicken balls I ever saw, and the egg rolls plum sauce was the only thing that tasted good. Very Disappointed with the poor quality of food. Prices are high and food tasteless. I only gave a 1 star because they wouldn't let me post with 0 stars. This is not a place I will rush back to soon. These guys are amazing. After another restaurant lost my order for Xmas eve that I had placed weeks before, Chongs did a big order for me last minute! Amazing service. They literally saved my Christmas eve
I have been eating at chongs place four days a week 4 30pm at for six months. They have very fast and friendly service, the owners and staff are very nice and friendly people. All the food there is fresh and the meals are huge portions and delicious. the selection on the menu is very healthy.The prices are very reasonable and competitive Well worth the price. The Staff is always cleaning the Tables, Chairs Windows, The Floors are Vacuumed and Mopped every evening I noticed as well. I plan on eating there lots more in the future.Thank you very much Chongs Place for the excellent meals and friendly service, we ll see you soon.
I have ordered many times always great. Tonight I ordered beef lo mein and almond soo guy and the lo mein was never delivered. I got some sort of soup with beef and bean sprouts (no noodles). Very disappointed.
If you want to food with your soya sauce , this is the place to eat. Disgusting food .
