I an extremely disappointed at this restaurant. Everytime I have been here there has never been jian bing. Im not from fredricton and I travelled from saint john just to have jian bing.If you are not offering jian bing dont keep it in your menu. Atleast put a post up on your facebook page so we can be updated.I ordered kung pao chicken today thinking that it will be authentic. It was tasteless and blant with nothing that tasted like kung pao chicken.Who puts sweet corn in kung pao? I have lived in Beijing for 3 years never ever tasted something like this. The chicken looked black in color. There was no sauce it was so dry. All i saw the chicken has peanuts and red chilli peppers thats all.I had to throw half of my meal in the garbage.I had to put up a review because I was so disappointed with my meal and jian bing never been offered at this location.
Tried A Bite of Beijing for the first time and got the Kung bao chicken and the fried noodles. I really enjoyed the Kung bao chicken , but the noodles were not to my liking. I ordered the mild spicy version and it looked tasty. However when I took a bite I could taste some spices I'm not very fond of. Still that's something that just comes down to preference.I definitely want to try more from this place in the future! I'll just avoid the fried noodles ?
This place is not perfect, but not bad. We ate there quite a few times (me and my daughters). Service could be more effective, like checking if it is time to clean or help with something. Overall I would say it is nice and comfy inside while meals not fantastic, just normal.
This is a wonderful place. The employees are always really friendly and kind. I always get the custard buns and the peach buns and they are to die for!! I’m sure the rest of the menu is just as good, and I look forward to returning here when I visit New Brunswick again!
Very cool place, food was great, definitely recommended
I stopped by on a recommendation from a friend and wasn't disappointed! The food was delicious and the menu has a lot of variety. The prices are also quite good. It has a good atmosphere & decor too. I cannot recommend this place enough. I can't wait to go back!
What a gem! The service is friendly, prompt and professional. The food presentation well done. So fresh and delicious! Affordable and well worth the time to sit in and enjoy the cozy atmosphere.
A bit of a sleeper hit in Fredericton. I've tried a couple of things on their menu and they are consistently tasty. My favourite are the veggie jianbing, their pork dumplings, and the Phoenix dessert bun
More of a take away than restaurant. Small dining room, was clean. Toilets could do with a cleaning especially the sink and taps. Food v good, reasonably priced. Had the chicken fried rice, v good and jasmine tea. Menu showed gf and vegan options. Daily specials available
Poor accomodation with requests. I called up the restaurant before placing order on Doordarsh. Requested for fried rice only with Vegetables and no eggs. What kind of hell restaurant management adds eggs in their vegetarian dish? Also spoke on call with someone they clearly denied saying its not possible. This is the second restaurant I'm experiencing in Fredericton. Probably the owners have started messing around with Chinese food and guest requests and maybe they also don't respect the client feelings. Totally disappointed to have these kind of restaurants in town. Shame on you.I don't care if you have a 5 star or 100 star rating on google. If you can't accomodate request you are absolutely not meeting client expectations which is absolutely annoying for customers like me. I myself work in restaurant industry and understand this very well that you should be flexible with client requests. This restaurant management should remove the vegetarian option from menu if they can't actually make the dish 100% vegetarian.
