My wife placed a takeout order a couple days ago. Having eaten at the restaurant in the past when we've been in Winnipeg she was extremely excited. She paid $165 for our entire order and went to pick it up.Unfortunately we had three significant errors :- we ordered assorted tempura and received a quite small "wasabi tempura roll".- she ordered 60 dollars of sushimi and instead received nigiri - obviously a significantly smaller portion of fish, replaced with rice we didn't want.- we NEVER RECEIVED our Mahalo roll.My wife, quite upset called the restaurant immediately. The first person listened to her story, then said she needed her manager. So my wife is put on hold.The next person comes to the phone, listens to the story and says they need the manager (confusing! Since she thought this was the manager).The final person comes to the phone after a prolonged hold, and somewhat sheepishly asks what the problem is, as if he didn't hear it from his employee (phone on speaker at this point).The manager then says my wife will receive a 70 dollar credit to the restaurant. She indicates we are from our of town and would prefer a partial refund for the various errors.The manager AGREES, but states some other manager has to authorize or complete this tomorrow.Well - YOU GUESSED IT. No one has bothered to call us back in the next 32 hours. I'm doubtful they ever will.My wife is so frustrated and disappointed she doesn't want to call and spend another 30 mins on hold telling the same story over and over and over.REALLY disappointing stuff. The items we did receive were tasty, but literally 40-50% of our entire 165 dollar order was wrong.The customer service was just awful and not following up after agreeing a mistake was made and a refund / credit is due is just brutal. Absolutely brutal.
Significant quality control issues with last 3 take out orders. Lots of new staff who are left to cope with inadequate experience. Girl on the phone told me ‘she didn’t know what to do’ when I called to report missing items despite clarifying twice when making the telephone order and still ended up with incorrect items in our order. Wrong sauces with various dishes too… just a hot mess. She put me on hold only to return to inform me that the manager was unable to come to phone?! Okay… for the prices they charge that's brutal customer service. I am tired of paying premium prices for inconsistent and inaccurate service. Hard pass until they get their act together… too many times.
OhMyGoodness, It Was SO Yummy❣️Esp. After Thinking We Were Underdressed, The Menu Was Limited, With High Prices, As Well As Only A Half Glass Of Plum Wine Available - However, We Were Very Pleasantly Offered Off-The-Menu Items, Which Were ABSOLUTELY SCRUMPTIOUS❣️
You get what you pay for...This restaurant is expensive but worth every penny. Hands down it was the best sushi I've ever had. Unique flavors that complimented each other perfectly.
Great service, nice atmosphere and food was delicious. The food was so well balanced and inventive, best sushi pizza I've ever had (the rice was so light). Red delight is a fun earthy vegetarian roll. Will definitely be back!
If you're looking for authentic sushi, this is not a spot, this a fusion place. Place is definitely way over priced and under served.Will admit though, their veggie tortilla was pretty bomb!The interior of this restaurant looks like a lounge, a lot of parking available, clean and really friendly staff

Service was not great, friendly but slow, the rolls were not the best I have had in the city as they seemed greasy. Oh yeah, and it was very expensive. I don't mind paying for great food but this was not up to par.
Hard to understand why this place is 4.4 star. The restaurant environment are definitely 5 star. Surface seems like everything is authentic food: like they use the turnip as decoration. The roll rice is soft I can eat every single rice, which is good and professional. And there are lots of sashimi choices like king salmon, sockeye salmon. Which is good…. But as a sushi lover I must say there is a good place only drink wine.1•The sushi rice taste wired. after i eat feel want to drink water. Every special sushi roll is a“good idea”on vision(ordered 5 roll and 6 nigiri and sashimi).Volcano sauce only sour do not wanna eat second one. The white dynamite…the tempura shrimp inside is soft like bread shrimp.2•The tempura… spend $20 just get bread tempura… no tempura flower. i can get the better and cheaper one from mall food court.This place is overprice I can spend same money eat better sushi in other place.
Been coming here for years, never disappoints. Make sure to get the Spicy mango prawns!
