Good food but a bit pricey and service took about 30 minutes. The parking I'd not as accessible but the vibe was good

Completely and totally unimpressed by their lack of time management. I would give 0 stars if I could. I called at 5 pm this evening to place a take out order for 8 pm, and when my husband went to pick it up, at 8 pm, he waited over 15 minutes, to then be told he would have to wait another 10 minutes for his order. Completely unacceptable and beyond unimpressed. No one should have to wait over 25 minutes for their order, regardless of the situation. Especially when your order is called in earlier in the day. On top of our order be extremely late, they also managed to mess up our order too!! Not to mention how expensive the menu is, and how little you get. This restaurant needs to learn how to better manage their orders and if they are going to be so late with an order, perhaps a discount or something for free would make customers less upset. Needless to say the sushi was not much better than supermarket quality. So disappointed by a place that gets such great reviews. Highly doubt we will ever be returning, so beyond disappointed.
Unbelievably slow service and rude staff! We placed an order at 5 pm tonight for 8 pm pick up and when my husband went to pick it up, they made him wait 30 minutes for the food. Then our order was wrong, which they blamed on me. No apology for the food being so late, or wrong. They were completely rude to my husband and did nothing to fix their lateness or mistake. On top of it, the food was very bland and the portions were extremely small for the price. Very disappointed. Will never be ordering from here again and I recommend you never order from their either.
Always down for Wakoya. I'm a little sensitive with 비린내 but I've never had a problem with the fish served here. Their 순두부찌개 is also really good to get with a donburi or chirashi. The only thing of note is, I feel like the sunomono salad sauce recipe has changed but it's not detrimental to the taste.
I recently ordered 4 rolls from here via Skip. I usually curb expectations a bit for delivery food wherever it's from, but this sushi was delicious. I imagine it may be better still if eaten in-restaurant, what with being fresher. Best sushi I've had in Winnipeg so far. Also very affordable compared to other places.
This is the 5/10 sushi place. The food is far from exceptional but it’s reasonably priced.
