Very nice. Serving are enough for sharing.Fresh, tasty lots of veggies and chicken nice sauces freshly made.Beff jerky app was great.Friendly server. Clean.Little dated and a bit dark but that can be overcome. Prices reasonable.Will be back.
Inaccurate ingredients in dish compared to menu and fishy taste in non-fish dish made me throw away most of it. Recommend to update menus
I hate giving bad reviews so I'll give 3...my coconut curry soup didn't have a hint of spice, never experienced that with other Thai restaurants, that's why I order it. The chicken satay was dry, however the crab rangoon was pretty good. I'll stick to my other Thai favorites in wpg.
Been ordering from Vanxai's for a couple years now, and whether dining out or eating in, it can't be beat. One of the best Winnipeg family businesses and certainly St. Vital's best restaurant. Very consistent, affordable, friendly, and fast. Everyone should try Vanxai's.
All the main dishes and appetizers were excellent and total bill with tax and tip was less than $50, for an appetizer and main dish each. Great reasonably priced food and super friendly staff.

Absolutely the best Pad Thai in Winnipeg. Tiny hole in the wall places that haven't been updated since the 90's are the only places with quality Asian food.
This is by far my favourite place to order from. The staff are extremely friendly. I have only ever ordered for take out. I always order green curry and salad rolls and it is always so amazing, very flavourful. 10/10.
I used to come here frequently a few years ago. I was disappointed however when I stopped in for lunch. The restaurant is really really dirty. Has not been vacuumed, can't see through the windows, stool grimy, it's really looking sad inside. I was the only person in there and yet no one came to check on me except when she first greeted me upon arrival. There were at least 2 possibly 3 people working plus the cook, and no one cleaning. It was also FREEZING in there!
