I went Tony Roma's Pembina Winnipeg yesterday evening with my friends to chat and relax after a big meal at another restaurant... The drinks and chicken wings were ok, but the bad thing was that the waitress didn't provide a proper service. Say, she didn't smile, not even fake ones, and even worse she acted like we owed her some money.. It's true that we didn't order a lot and sat and chatted for a few hours, but so is this not welcomed at Tony Romas? The waitress came and interrupted us many times by asking us if we were finished and ready to pay????!!! Come on, do we really look poor or what??? She never asked if we need any more water or service, but just wanted us to pay asap... I DO NOT LIKE THIS KIND OF THING... I go to restaurants a lot, no matter regular or fancy high end ones, and I was barely treated like this... If you, as a waiter or waitress, were busy, you could just leave us and mind you own things since we didn't bother you that much, huh???... But frequently asking you customers to finish up and pay when your restaurant is very empty is like you are asking me to get out!! I think it might be just her problem, cause I was treated relatively nicely by other staffs... It was a terrible terrible experience... I feel like it was a discrimination because of my race or something I don't understand.. Making me sick..????? One of my friends treated us and paid the bill and, of course, the tips... After we paid, she never came back to us again... ?? What a service? Or what a disrepect?
We ordered through Skip and received the wrong order.The manager was very apologetic and gave us full credit. We’ve been dining here since it was opened many years ago and have always had the best service and the best ribs,
Very nice, cozy restaurant. Service was great, friendly and professional staff. Manager came out to ask how was our food which I think pretty nice touch. I would definitely recommend this place.
Party of four for dinner July 23rd. Server was great (lounge). Food overall was fairly good with ex eption of the salmon which was dry and very fishy tasting.
Sat on patio So traffic noise was somewhat load occasionally but too be expected Food was delicious
Stopped in here for supper on our way home to Alberta, gotta say was probably one of the best dining experiences we’ve had. Food was really good and big shoutout to Paige our server, she did a fantastic job. If I’d say anyone deserves a raise it would be her. I’d recommend going here.
my boyfriend and I have never been here and it was a very nice experience. Excellent staff service, tasty food, and a relaxing atmosphere.
