Terrible!! Well first of all, I normally love the Lion. We go there for drinks and some appies and for the most part it’s great. No issues with drinks and appies. The environment and people are fantastic. …. BUT…. Went for St Patties Day specials today (which should be their specialty, right!?) and the food we got was terrible. We spent over a hundred bucks on our bill (sat at the bar for drinks and took home food). When we got home, we noticed the food was not nearly as described. Ordered the “special” Irish Sliders only to find out they are buns with thousand island sauce, sauerkraut, and ONE piece of deli meat. Sooooooo disappointing! I would never leave a one star review for a place I like, but this is not the first time the kitchen has disappointed. They hype up the menu and give a one slice sandwich. Definitely don’t get too excited if you are wanting food here. Drinks and atmosphere, yea ok, but take out food, avoid!! So sad really. Like why talk up your sandwiches and just sell a bun!? Anyway, be cautious if ordering take out.

Quiet night I guess cause covid. Watched the jets game and had the ginormous burger. Some drunk guy was hiding in the bathroom though and the police had to come in and coax him out. I think he got arrested ?

We went in with a group of people and a 3-month old baby. We asked the server as soon as we walked in if we were allowed in with our child, and he reassured us that we were. Once we were sitting down and waiting to be served the same waiter told us that we could not be in the building with a child under 18. There’s no signage on the door stating this, and the staff don’t seem to have a clue about this law. Making elderly people get up and leave after the fact is unacceptable.
