4.5/5The place was clean and tidy.We loved the Penang curry and the green curry. Would visit again just for the curries. The Thai iced tea was good too.The papaya salad was super sweet and we left more than half of it. I think it was because they overused the sauce they put in the salad. Could have been much better.Overall, the service was super fast. They’re open till 8pm and that’s a bummer.Would give them 4.5/5 for the food. -0.5 for the papaya salad debacle.
Great family run Thai Restaurant. The senior matriarch brings a smile and greets each table. Stuffed chicken wings are not what I thought they’d be but are large and very good. Comes with peanut dipping sauce, was only missing some spice. Tom Yum with chicken (spice level 8) was excellent and brought the heat. M
We had the coconut rice and red curry soup with sea food. The rice was perfectly cooked with excellent coconut structure. The red curry soup was mild spicy, just how we oredered it and it was packed full of cabbage, broccoli, peppers and a wonderful tastey broth. If you have to wait for your order, it's for good reason. Ours only took 20 minutes when we ordered for pickup over the phone. Customer service was excellent. The staff at the front was very polite and so friendly.
i visit too many times to have my favorite dish which is noodles with chicken that I like the most of the time
Super grateful for the very kind staff that for a second time left my father a very touching note with his food for Father’s Day. This is his favourite restaurant and to be able to enjoy the food along with a kind note is an amazing thing for a business to do Thank you so very much for your kindness.
Our workplace ordered a large order for lunch and everyone enjoyed it so much! Food is great and the employees are happy to serve. It seemed like they were dealing with a lot of orders so we waited a little bit but it was worth it!
Thidas used to be my favorite spot for thai cuisine in the city for years until last night. My GF and I were wondering what to have for dinner for my 40th birthday and she had never tried Thidas before so I was VERY excited to introduce her to it.We placed our order at 6:59 PM and they did provide an expectation that the food wouldn't be ready until 8:30 PM which we were fine with because it was Mother's Day.I should note that we decided to contact the restaurant directly so we could ensure that they kept as much of our money as possible instead of using DoorDash/Skip the Dishes etc.We had nothing to do so we decided to head down to Thidas at 8:00, just in case our food was ready. When we arrived, there were about 7 delivery drivers for DoorDash/Skip the Dishes waiting as well which we weren't upset about at first. There was barely ANY communication about how long our order was going to be and there was no one at the front to speak to, outside of 5 minutes over the 45 minutes we were in there.THE REASON I WON'T BE GOING BACK - At about 8:45 PM (Almost 2 hours after we placed our orders), I started looking at the filled DoorDash/Skip the Dishes orders on the counter and noticed the times they were placed which were considerably after the time we placed our order (7:23 PM, 8:01 PM etc.).You CANNOT treat customers who choose to order directly from you like this and it's absolutely ridiculous that, if we had chosen to order through one of the food apps, we would get our food sooner. We ended up walking out at that point (8:50 pm). I'm sad to say you've lost a customer of 10 years and we'll need to find somewhere else who respects the customers trying to save them money.
One of my favorite places. Super friendly, consistently delicious. #23 green curry soup, and #37 peanut curry are favs. Crab wontons are also really tasty.
Food was good. We enjoyed it. However, we had to wait for like almost an hour after we order. When I asked them why it takes so long they replied they don't have enough cook that day. May be on a bad day we went. But they could have told us earlier.
