Good ambiance, quick and decent service, but mediocre food and overpriced. No option for real maple syrup at a place that ostensibly specializes in pancakes is disappointing, as was being served margarine instead of butter.I don't mind paying 25$ for breakfast if it's good, but nothing here was better than anything i could get for half the price at a neighborhood diner.
Nice servers and staff. Place was clean. Chef wasn’t the best whoever cooked the food . Small portions of hash browns which were barely fried whatsoever and cold. Bacon was half over cooked half over cooked and cold . Toast was dry by time I got it. Over easy eggs weren’t very over easy. Everything tasted fine and I finished my meal but overall I could cook better myself
Overpriced lack luster food and no employees within line of sight if you needed something.Lack of service , quality of food not even cafeteria grade. Was not the experience I had hoped for.I have no intentions of returning in the future.I honestly can't remember the last time I spent 22 dollars on breakfast.Especially one aa simple as an omelet and glass of juice.
For me, it has to be 5/5 because of the tastiness and quality of their big menu, being a fair price, and their hours of operation for breakfast food. It is quite lovely to be able to have breakfast foods into the evening! Way better than places like Ben and Florentine closing at 2PM!Wish they were open until more like 10PM or later though! Where are the 24-hour restaurants in Winnipeg... Salisbury House used to be...Overall- better-than-great food/choices, reasonable prices, decent hours, and the service seems to be OK.Has to be 5/5 considering there is nowhere else like it around Winnipeg (that I know of/have found yet)... with great hours and such!Expect still to pay a bit for your food- it’s not overpriced by any means but it is not super inexpensive either.
My daughter and I went there yesterday for pancakes. Very few people in, only one other table filled in the area we were in. I ordered potato pancakes, they were O.K. but my daughter, who had been looking forward to a large apple pancake got hers - it looked very flat and unappetizing and then we realized it was minus the apple !. They said they'd make another; - I'd almost finished eating by the time her apple pancake came. It was black around the edges... they asked if she'd like to take it home in a box. She did! Never again !
Ordered take out. They said 10 mins. Have been waiting 30 mins. I get home and opened it and it was the wrong order.Wasted my time and money.Cashier and staff was ignorant
I usually have a fantastic experience here. Typically I will go for breakfast on a Sunday with my family. I met a friend for lunch yesterday, and the service was really slow and lacking. We had to ask for coffee after sitting there for 20+ minutes waiting. We had to request the one refill we were able to get. My friend ordered her eggs basted soft and they were hard.I was really shocked. We have always had such great service. Yesterday was not. 2 stars because the food was hot.
Disgusting bathrooms and hair in two out of three dishes.I know this sounds like a stereotyped review but I very rarely feel a place deserves a review like this. The food itself wouldnt have been bad if I wasn't so concerned with the restaurant cleanliness.Bathrooms are an indicator of general cleanliness for a business and hair in the food suggests at the very least the kitchen staff isn't wearing hair nets. I didn't feel comfortable even saying how I felt about the visit to the staff.I won't be eating here again.
this restaurant offers no options for people who don’t want a pile of carbs for sides in the form of pancakes and hash browns. instead we got to pay full price for omelette with 4 slices of raw green tomatoes. server was visibly inconvenienced by our polite inquiry regarding possible substitutions. coffee was ok.
Breakfast was good a bit of a wait to get seated but it was worth it always a good experience.?
