Sat outside on a lovely day. Patio is a great spot. Drinks were ok. Ordered wings and they were terrible. Cajun looked like they threw on a little orange powder to some really dry wings. Sent them back because they were not good and got a saucy type to make it hopefully better. They were ok but so small and 8 wings for $15. I have gone here for wing night and they are usually better. Hope its just a one off. Friday may 27th around 6pm
Omg what an awful experience. Our server (Brook I think was her name) said she was fairly knew, which I totally get. I have no problem being more patient while someone is still learning. What I have a problem with is someone that thinks it's acceptable to be rude to a customer. I told her I wanted a vegan quesidilla with the vegan chicken (which is on the menu) and she became rude and stand offish. Saying "chicken isn't vegan" and "cheese isn't vegan". Like yes honey, I know. I've been vegan for over 3 years, I know the difference between animal meat and a vegan mock meat option. Made me feel ridiculous and judged for what I wanted to order. After trying to explain to her that the vegan quesidilla is on the menu and I've had it here before, I gave up trying to explain what I wanted and settled for the Where's the beef burger. Anyways please teach your servers more about dietary restrictions before throwing them on the floor to make people feel ridiculous for their food choices.
Excellent customer service and excellent food. Definitely go back next time we're in the city.
Ordered through skip on Wednesday. Got the MB150 burger. Everything was delicious!
Hours online and at the door are incorrect. We went at 2:30 in the afternoon but it was closed All is open Covid wise but Tavern is late to the game. Disappointing so we went to a competitor instead.
I’ve never been disappointed with my food or customer service at this location.A little while back, my friends and I had a horrible experience at another restaurant and came to the Tav instead. When we mentioned to our waitress what had happened, she brought us each a shot on the house and was extremely friendly. She was also a very kind waitress who took great care of us
Zero stars if it had it. Take out order.Food was horrible for a basic item, did not get our complete meal.( fries were missing)Speedway dog with chili($3.49 and received 1 cold hard spoon of chili - you get more from Tims)Cheese was not even melted and one order of jalepenos on the dog was missing.Entire order was cold!The kitchen cook should be embarrassed for letting the meal out of the kitchen.For the amount of money we spent I expect a decent meal!More to come...
Ordered from this place tonight for delivery through Skip the Dishes. Got their Ultimate Double Cheese Burger with Chilli and a salad.I will always suggest picking up yourself, that way you know your meal will be get home hot. The Skip guy just left our order on the front step and bailed....didn't ring the bell as told to or message us in any way.The burger was as described and with no tomato as requested. The bun was soft and buttery, patties were delicious as was the chilli, just wish the cheese was a real slice and not a sauce that could have been from package for all I know. Salad also didn't have tomatoes which I appreciated.Hope to visit their location and dine in if available the next time I'm back in town.
We frequent the Tave, it is one of our favorite restaurants. The food is excellent and the deep fried cheesecake is to die for! Seriously you must try it!
Great atmosphere, fun vibe! And excellent staff and customer service. Was there for the first time a few days ago and will definately be returning!
