We waited 5 years to eat from our favourite sushi restaurant!! We lived in Winnipeg for 8 years and this was our go to spot!! But my husband is military so we got posted a few times but I wish this restaurant was in Brandon lol and spending a weekend in Winnipeg I told him we have to order from them and it was NOT disappointing!! Was sooooooo good!! Totally recommend this restaurant!! Luv this restaurant!!
I have ordered from sushi maru on average once a week for the past 6 years. I love their sushi; it is a bit overpriced, but the quality is unmatched in the Westwood area.They have messed up my order more than once. This evening, I noticed one roll was missing. I didnt notice until I got home because the price was right.I called to inform them, and the owner insisted I was not charged for the missing roll - that I ordered it but wasn't charged for it because he forgot to make it. I assured him that I paid for it, because I order from them a lot. He continued to insist I did not.When I opened up my food, I saw a beef teriyaki roll that I would never order. Obviously he realized he messed up my order and charged me for a roll I didn't order and continued to insist otherwise.Ive ordered from here hundreds of times. I am extremely disappointed in the customer service that I received.
Went here yesterday and ordered 3 sets of Sushi. Very tasty, fresh and made with love, and the owners were very kind. I recommend this place.
I ordered from this restaurant for the first time and I am absolutely disappointed on it as the quantity definitely is not worth the price, I paid almost $70 for 3 small sushi packages, that barely feed 3 people. Not coming back. Don't get me wrong the food is tasty but way too overpriced. Really small and thin rolls.

Top location in crestview area or I would say overall good location.sufficient parking available in front of the restaurant and around.Business and food is like by many. Food is prepared on time most of the time few a times there is little delay on online pickups so plz work on that and it also could help you keep maintain social distancing if the number of people waiting are less.Customer service is not bad but due to cultural difference sometimes it takes time to understand gestures. Plz try and make customer service even better.little more smileys and greeting.I really like the interior and design of sushi places especially this place. First of all they are promoting culture, their food etc secondly we get to know them in canada by visiting these places. Unique and beautiful things around the world.Big thumps up for people doing that. I wish them good luck for their business too.

Ordered pick up through skip the dishes. The order was ready on time and friendly greetings from the staff. The amount of assorted tempura was small, had a crispy texture though. Sushi rolls were a good size, I like the teriyaki sauce they used. The chicken katsu was okay, but I don't think I'd order it again. Overall, I'd order again, probably just sushi though.
