Amazing restaurant. Sushi was exquisite. Clean restaurant including the bathrooms. The prices were a little bit expensive though. But overall great.

Worst all you eat sushi experience I've had. Felt like I'd been scammed with the ridiculous amount of rice added to the sushi. And I couldn't properly enjoy the flavour either. If they need to make more money, they should charge more and offer proper sushi that will actually make people go back. The other food must be ok, because the sushi experience is a fail.

Went here with a friend and my kidlet and was pleasantly surprised. The food was great and quickly prepared. Sushi was great and the hot dishes were fantastic. A little pricey but was all you can eat so definitely worth it if you're ready to eat!

The good: Ordering is a breeze - fantastic. They have iPads which you use to order the food. The food is mostly served promptly. I thought the service was good. The downside: the food is way too packed with rice. Looking at the other reviews, it seems that a lot of people are complaining about that. I'd consider going again if the food was made as normal, not packed with excess rice for filler. Until there is an improvement, however, I will not be returning. Sushi Gen costs just as much (without the mandatory 10% gratuity - though that doesn't matter to me) for all-you-can-eat sushi that is sized normally, without being overstuffed with rice.

We dine in around 4:50 but 7pm now, we not even get half of our orders. We order 20 shrimp tempura, but they only give us 9 pieces and no sauce for it. We need sashimi but no wasabi. There is no point coming here again. Disappointed

Food is okay but service is terrible… one particular lady server is rude (they don’t have a name badge so can’t specify here). Went there for the all-you-can-eat lunch buffet with friends to celebrate a birthday but ended-up with the worst service we ever experienced in Winnipeg. Requested for extra spoon and fork and the server irritatingly remarked “why didn’t you tell me you need more when you asked for the first one?” A few minutes later we requested for extra tempura dipping sauce since there were 6 of us from different household and considering that we’re still in the middle of the pandemic and the same server said “we only give one sauce per table so you have to share.” We felt embarrassed bringing our friends to this place. Expect as well that some of the food you ordered will be missed or will be served very late during a busy lunch time. When we were at the cashier to pay, a customer in another table is also having a heated exchange with another server… missed the “friendly Manitoba” service in this place ;(

Order is served sooo slowww! And service is very bad! The manager was soooo rude and another staff was also rude! This doesn’t feel like a Candian restaurant! Worst place in Canada!

Been here a couple times now, once with a small group and again with a group of 10. In a small group there was no issues food was good and came quickly. With the group of 10, we split our ordering so food would start arriving as an order for 10 can take some time. None of the sushi arrived until after a 3rd order was placed from the group and we needed to wait over 30 minutes for the sushi. I feel this could have been resolved with better communication with the staff, but overall it was not a great experience.

I have been to the Sushi Jet for a few times recently. I was very impressed by that big sushi boat with variety of sushi rolls and sashimi combination. It was very nice that we could share with friends and taste different sushi. I also like the veggie Tempura there so delicious. A great place to have a dinner there!

Worst sushi experience ever.-Their food is bad but not the worst. They pack all their sushi with incredibly large amounts of rice, hoping that people will get full early and not order any more. With that said, some menu items aren't bad.-the service is the worst I've ever encountered. They took an exorbitant time to bring any of the food, missed two different orders and were incredibly tardy on pretty much everything else. Despite this, they added an automatic gratuity. It's incredibly expensive - 30 dollars and yet at the end of the meal, they had the gall to try to charge me a dollar for every remaining sushi roll that we didn't finish. I simply told their horrible manager that if you want me to pay that, take off the gratuity. She scowled at me but relented. This is the worst sushi place in the city. Avoid at all costs.
