Pleasantly surprised by the vegan ice cream! Flavour was decent and the texture was the closest I’ve ever had to typical soft serve ice cream. Ordered the vegan minion parfait, which had peanut butter, bananas and Oreo crumbs. A delicious combo!I previously remembered it being cash only, but they now have debit/credit which is convenient.
We LOVE this place and recommend it to everyone. However, the other day when we were there I could tell the quality of the soft serve has gone down. It's more like ice milk than ice cream. Please change it back! The parfaits are delicious but the soft serve was disappointing.
Sub zero ice cream is a little gem hidden in elm wood. The vibe here reminds me of a spot you might find in a city like Vancouver. I love it! There are 1000s of options and you can customize your desert as you’d like. There are even nut free options for guys like me! And dog items for your beagles. On a hot day this is a great place and I’ll definitely be back!!! Highly recommended!!!
My partner and I visited Sub Zero this past Sunday during a heat wave and we couldn't have been more impressed! The ice cream was so delicious and the service was quick and friendly. The ice cream sandwiches were the best I've ever had!
First time experience today and bought a speciality milkshake that was VERY delicious. Lady just after me places a real special order. Cashier then just verbalized it to the other gals. How they could remember all that was said is beyond me. I’d be lost for sure. ?
Very cute place . Chapman's ice cream ..very delicious but my son wasn't happy cuz there wasn't to much hard ice cream choices . But the banana split was just Amazing and HUGE so it made up for lack of choices of flavors
The soft serve vanilla ice cream was creamy yet silky at the same time. Incomparable. The peanut butter and fudge sauce was ribboned through the Larsen parfait.The atmosphere in Sub Zero is relaxed, small enough to fit 4-5 people at once, clean and organized. Very friendly and prompt service!
I finally got the chance to try Sub Zero today and I was not disappointed!They have a massive menu with a huge variety of flavours to choose from. They also have a fairly big vegan menu which is incredibly helpful for non-dairy consumers.We ordered and received our ice cream in under 2 minutes. The service speed was incredible.We will definitely be coming back throughout the summer to try out more flavours! It was worth the drive from St Vital
