This place is the biggest catfish of all restaurants… online their food looked amazing, drinks looked awesome, I’ve been waiting a year to try smokin aces.. I made a reservation earlier in the day for 10 people at 8pm, when we arrived, no tables were set up, we helped with moving tables and chairs to be nice and get things going. After ordering drinks, they took about 20-25 minutes to arrive at the table. The menu has very little options, and what everyone chose ended up being sub par or gross. I personally ordered a pizza, they had VERY limited and weird toppings (look at the menu) and it was grossly undercooked and 2/10 on taste. Our table was served their orders at all different times, everyone was done eating by the time the last person was served.. and some orders all around had to be cancelled because the wait was becoming insane.All in all this place is a mess. Terribly slow service, drab looking inside.. 2/10 food and drinks are not that special. Don’t be catfished like we all were. Nobody left happy.
Extremely disappointed with the food at thisestablishment; me and my friend went here for dinnerand the pizza came out undercooked and definitelynot what I was expecting, usually I can understandwhen a place modifies pizza by making smallchanges but they made this pizza completely halaland seasoned it as well which threw me off a lot, Iwould recommend if they are trying to keep pizza onthere menu to stick to traditional ingredients & addyour own stuff to spice it up as an option not justhave those halal style ingredients as the onlyingredients. Not to mention it's $18 just for a pizza byit self with no side or anything. The lady who worksthere does not even have any help and they areextremely short staffed but her service was reallynice it's just a shame the food quality is poorbecause I felt sick to my stomach after eating thisand will definitely be avoiding this place in the future.I hope the owner doesn't take this offensivelybecause he was also nice but the menu definitelyneeds changes so you do not end up poisoning orsending someone to the hospital with undercookedingredients, also the people who made the pizzaneed to size it down and learn how to cut the pizzaproperly in more even sections.
Kailey the bartender is legit the most amazing human ever. She made us so comfortable and was very attentive. She made our drinks and legit the most amazing drinks ever. Thank you so much Kailey!! You are amazing!!!
Was having issues deciding on food for dinner then on a whim we chose Smokin Aces. Possibly the best surprise dinner I’ve ever ordered. The food tastes amazing. Presentation incredible. Also how did I never know I needed a Baby potato poutine in my life. Whole family was throughly impressed.10/10 will be visiting in person food like this deserves the proper atmosphere!
First time here, new to the city. I loved the vibe. Great hookah and smoking drinks, definitely worth all the hype! My server Jummi made it easy to order and tell me what was popular, will be back for their aces at night events!
The burgers here are absolutely NOT worth $17. It came with next to no toppings. A few strands of lettuce. Are you kidding? It's like this place tries to hide the lack of effort with cheese. And you don't even get a side with it... no fries, chips, or salad. Incredibly overpriced and disappointing. I highly recommend avoiding this burger, it's a big waste of money.That being said, the poutine was hot upon arrival and portions were huge. It wasn't mind-blowing but at least worth the price they charge. The waffle was good and tasty but it probably would've been better in person.Overall it was a disappointing experience and I probably won't bother trying this place again.

It was a nice cosy place. I had a green tea shot and pink cotton candy drink which were both delicious. It was almost 10 so all they had available to eat was the poutine for poutine week and it was SO GOOD, the baby potatoes were filled with flavour and all the toppings were just right! Fun night overall, my ears had to get used to the loud music a bit because it was turning into more of a club vibe.
Ordered takeout for poutine week. The poutine was so good, huge and a good value. They accommodated my requests. Also got the waffle it was amazing and they even threw in a couple extra sauces! They went above and beyond, I am super impressed.
I mean we'll see where this place goes. Hookah seems a little expensive, the gnocchi was pretty average and had way too much sauce which was kind of one note. Drinks are relatively cheap and the space itself is really nice. Kind of a mixed bag overall, didn't go for any event or anything. I'd say stick to the simple bar food and drinks, and hookah would be better with a group. But yeah, don't give it a miss on my account, it's still a nice enough spot to grab drinks!
