Very disappointed in the service that we were given at Smitty’s on Regent this Wednesday.We waited for 15 minutes on the patio and no one came to give us water only were given menus and the waitress was taking people’s orders that came in after we did. WE WALKED OUT! Very Very poor service.
Well what a pleasant surprise. We were driving by and had a bunch of choices in the area and decided to try this one. Place was super clean and the service was top notch. I ordered the 2 piece fish and chips (extra crispy) and was amazed at the size of fish that arrived. It looked like it was freshly battered and cooked to perfection. I really thought I was going to get those out of the box little wedges but this was not the case. Meal arrived fresh and hot and done exactly how I ordered it. How rare is that these days. Definitely will be going back. Our server was a lady whose name I don’t recall but she was fantastic. Great great job Smitty’s.
Walked into the restaurant at 8:30pm on Sunday, us and a skip delivery driver stood there waiting for about 5 minutes. Had to walk over to the bar side to get someone's attention so we could be seated.Placed our orders, food came quick and was hot and fresh. Disappointed in the steak sandwich... certainly didn't look like the picture, was not served on garlic bread , instead was served on a sweet tasting ciabatta type bread. Asked for the fries to be well done, definitely didn't happen. Asked for the salad to be light on dressing, again, wasn't done. Portions were quite small. Surprised that my "garlic toast" was half of a slice of bread... would not recommend if you have a bigger appetite.EDITED TO ADD:After the initial review, Smitty's asked me to reach out to them. I sent them an email with a copy of the review, I have yet to hear back. My email was sent on May 31 and today is June 3
Our waitress provided excellent service. She was very prompt and attentive. The food was served quickly and the orders were correct.I've eaten here many times and have always received excellent food quality and service.
We have been to this restaurant several times and have never had an issue and did not this time. Jessey our server made it that much more enjoyable than your normal experience. Even though the food took quite some time to arrive Jessey made sure all our coffee's were topped up. Great food Great service and will return.
It was a cold, snowy and frigid Tuesday night. My Partner and I were starving and was welcomed by the Manager Rod. He recommended the most Amazing poutine for poutine week. It was so delicious and can't stop thinking about it. The Staff were so sweet and the service was on point! Amazing Team, Service and Delicious Meal! Highly Recommend!
THEEE WORSTT PLACE EVERR!!!! I went for a family dinner, ordered mildly hot wings and I was served hella hot when I asked that server to replace it she did and then she even charged me for that while I haven’t even ate that also she charged for the KETCHUPS like seriously even McDonald’s gives ketchup for no charge. SHAME SHAME SHAME to that racist server no empathy no respect and she was even angry on me for ordering hot wings not accepting the mistake they put way too much chilly sauce. I got sour throat after eating one bite. I wish I could give negative rating for that. Asked for the manager and she refused. Her name is levies I guess. Don’t accept her as your server ever.
$97 for 4 orders of wings for delivery. Order completely wrong. No senior staff to fix the issue. Happens often. Restaurants who can’t manage delivery after 2 years should go bankrupt.
This was my first time having Wings in the Smitty's Lounge. The Wings are very good. My side order of Fries came in a little silver Wine glass. The portion size is too small for the price. Fries in the restaurant industry used to be known as filler. Which means cheap enough to fill up the plate. Over all experience was great. The staff are pleasant and I will be back ?
Went for wings and beer. The only complaint for me was the bang for your buck is kinda lacking. But the food was tasty and beers were good. I'd go back again. A busy place!
