*EDIT* recieved a gift card, and went back and ordered the same thing. Much better this time around. Were sat at the same table as well.Other than the weird fact that someone stabbed a couple sugar packets with a pen and put then back in the holder, it was a fine meal experience.Ordered big country breakfast, girlfriend Ordered the skillet both with scrambled eggs, noticed no prices or selection of beverages on the menu. Asked for half orange juice half cranberry juice, was told by server that they would put it through as just orange juice which was fine, until they brought me just orange juice and I had to ask if they forgot, they fixed it so no problem. Received the food and the eggs looked like a chopped up thin layer of eggs instead of being scrambled. Eggs were tough, chewy and flavorless. I didn't even bother trying to finish them. During the meal we were asked if we wanted more coffee and after 5 minutes were brought coffee by someone else. Disappointed in the quality of food for the 18 dollar price tag. Might be Disappointed in the service if I didn't think she was a relatively new server.Edit: day later, asked to email directly regarding my review and no response, don't ask me to respond if you aren't going to get back to me in a timely fashion
The server was new and didn't appear to have a lot of support. She did well despite this. The table was not set when we arrived even though my sister in law reserved the table a week or two ahead of time. My eggs benedict came out with hard eggs. I ordered soft. The kitchen fixed it however, I was disgusted that they just took the old eggs off and sent out fresh eggs on a plate that had gone cold. Our group won't be returning. It's really gone down hill and I felt sorry for our server.
Took a kiddo for breakfast here today that has severe egg and nut allergies. They looked after us SO WELL. We truly felt cared for and out waitress was honestly the sweetest. Easily one of our best experiences at a restaurant so far. Thank you!!
My family and I have gone here multiple times. Usually it’s busy and service is quick…however the last time restaurant wasn’t even half full and took over an hour to get our food, we were told there’s been a lot of mixups in the kitchen. Not once did a manager come by and apologize for the delay. Our waitress was lovely and we do not blame her. But time to find new management asap, perhaps new kitchen staff too. We will probably go elsewhere now, unfortunate as our family meets up there quite often on Sundays.
Definitely not worth the the money....wing night too expensive for what you get .Wings seem to be smaller and smaller with a 90 cent per peice cost make your own at home..Also salt and pepper or any of the flavors had visible coatings ...my order was very skimpy on the flavorings .Sign of the times I guess but not interested in a 30 dollar bill and then tip on top to get nothing ....guess they make regardless since there were a lot of people but as for me I can hold off on eating out as I am a better cook then Smittys anyways...too bad people can't see this is a rip off .
I order and will never again a steak sandwich with crispy onion rings. At the one on leila.The steak was so small, the size of my palm. (Yes only my palm, figures not include n yes I have small hands) Anyways I was starving and when the lady brought me my food it looked ok minus the knife. It wasn't ok it was cold. I was so hungry I ate a complained. When the lady came by to see how our meal was I told her it was cold but I'm hungry n eating it anyways. She gave a look, like I was out of my mind.The steak was so rubbery my jaw was getting sore chewing to swallow. Almost choked on a piece and spit other bits out cuz I couldn't chew it enough to swallow.The only thing that was ok was my salad.
Bottom line, I had the nachos on two separate occasions. Definitely will not order again and suggest you don’t either. Even though we paid extra for beef topping there were very few toppings and mostly dry nachos. Mentioned this to our server who listened and said have a good day.BTW, not a single amber or dark draft. Very poor on tap selection!!
From what this place once was, our visit last night was trash. Food quality went completely down hill. The service was "okay" but I blame that on lack of training on steps of service. But the food, the nachos and wings pure trash... Barely any topping on our nachos, the beef for the nachos looks like 7-11 chili sauce and the wings have definitely gone down in size. Definitely won't be coming back.
We were accidentally given the wrong slice of pie on a pickup order that was being taken to my mother-in-law in the hospital. They went WAY above and beyond to make it right by personally delivering an entire pie to her house way out in Transcona when she got home. She was absolutely thrilled!! Thank you so much.
I go this location every weekned with family or friend this is second time happening with me ..Visited last night around 10pm with friend ordered nachos and poutine .. nachos with grilled chicken payed extra 5$ .food was so cold chesse was right up not echicken was not grilled properly we dntnt even eated even single peace ..
