Great and fast service, the staff are really nice and I enjoy sharing a story with them, the French toast is delicious and the cheesecake is almost exactly like the kind my grandma’s hotel used to make, which means it’s to DIE for. 10/10 definitely coming here again, also first restaurant I’ve been too since I was like, 10 or younger, and I’m 22 now!
This smitties has such welcoming and lovely workers. We had a waitress named Millie serve us, and she was a super fun person to talk to and had lots of energy. I definitely recommend going to this location!! Thank you Millie for being very welcoming
Had a great time at the pembina south location! I owe a big thanks to our waitress Millie for making our stay unique, she engaged in my groups fun and friendly conversation which made our experience all the better.
Didn't feel like cooking tonight (or any night.Let's be honest) so we ordered in. Loved my clubhouse! My husband loved the cream soup and his veal cutlet meal. Thank you Smitty's! <3
Not the largest parking lot, limited parking even at 930 on a Friday night.The restaurant wasn't super busy but the lounge looked more happening.The booths are comfortable and clean. The service was friendly and good. The service was decently fast. The food was hot.We had the roasted beef dip with mashed potatoes and gravy. The potatoes were excellent, great taste, texture and decent amount.The beef dip had an excellent fresh bun. The meat was niether dry or greasy. The au jus had a nice flavour, reminded me of onion soup more than traditional beef drippings.I did regret not bringing a sweater since it was a little on the cool side.The price was decent and portions were pretty good.We will come back.
We both had the beef dip and mashed potatoes- was a great choice of a meal. The mashed potatoes were cooked perfectly - nicely blended. The beef sandwich came with au jus that had an onion flavour to it - was quite nice. Hadn't been to Smitty's in a few years. Very happy we went back. Parking lot was very full - the lounge was busier than the restaurant on a friday evening. Could use more parking space at this location. Our server was attentive and friendly. Would go back again. Always liked the all day breakfast feature at Smitty's. Thanks for a great meal.
We come to this location often, this location sure has a lot of inexperienced workers. Even asked someone that looked like a supervisor for some ketchup, and that took 10 minutes.... Waited 15 minutes to have someone take the order, then 40 minutes to receive food, and it wasn't even busy. End of my meal and still waiting on a refill of pop I asked for mid meal. So disappointed with the service... Food was as expected though...
Was 5 stars, but now 1.Recently the wings got super drier, and pricier (almost doubled up.)Server never shows up once they sit us down to the table. We finally had to call someone else to place an order, then got our order 1 hour later after we entered.- It happened 3 visits in a row, so I assume that it is not just one mistake..Had been my favorite restaurant for past 10 years... but won't return again.
Tried new International breakfast for a change. Bit of everything! 2 eggs, 2 bacon, 2 sausage, 1 French toast, 1/2Belgian waffle. Lovely meal with coffee refills. Good, friendly service from Diana our waitress, made our time there adelightful experience!
Ordered a meal and when it came they added mushrooms when we asked them not to due to health issues so I called and we were told we would get the meal back complimentary so when I did try to have it replaced and even said I was going to order another dish with it they said they didn’t remember that and would NOT replace the meal!! I amp and was very disappointed and think that is NOT good customer service at all and I will share my experience with others and just will not support them again which is sad because I do like to support restaurants in my Community especially in these trying times so I do suggest everyone be very clear on your order or you’re just throwing away your money which is hard to earn right nowTo the public who may be reading this review……Merry Christmas!!
