The best Indian food I've had in the city. The food deserves 5 stars. If you only want good food and don't care about anything else, stop reading. However the drink menu was lackluster, and the menu design in general was a little tacky. With a little more care put in to the aesthetic of the store itself, this place would perfect.
Excellent food! We used to go to clay oven years ago but quality had gone down a little in our opinion and prices had gone up significantly over several years. We switched to Cilantro’s they’re so much closer to where we live, prices are much better and flavors were/are out of this world. Today, I decided to check reviews and found that Shahi Flames reviews were right up there! Wife was Leary to try but gave me the green light. So, we had veg pakora. They were a bit dark slightly over fried but the flavor was really good. Butter chicken was nicely spiced, (I don’t eat meat) and wife commented chicken was a bit dry. But I thought the sauce was great when I tried it. We also had Aloo Gobi which was fantastic. The Shahi paneer was awesome, and finally the Navartan Korma consistency was slightly different from what we have had in the past but the flavors were spot on.I’m giving 5 stars because the flavors were excellent. If an item or two aren’t perfect, neither is my life but I still think I live an excellent life. The fellow that took my order and I believe the same one that got my order was very courteous. The aromas in the restaurant are out of this world. What a Delightful sensory treat! We will definitely order from here again.
I had heard a lot of GREAT things about this place and finally tried it tonight. The staff were so welcoming, friendly and warm and the food was delicious. A co-worker recommended the mint chicken and it didn't disappoint. I'll definitely order again and again and again! Thank you!
Outstanding. Top place in the city to get Indian food and I can't recommend it enough. I had the Channa masala, Palak paneer and butter chicken (along with samosa and naan). All of it was created so incredibly, the entrees were not greasy or oily and had they great taste. Good value too.
Worst experience ever. We order chicken platter and the chicken was not even marinated properly or it was old. Kebabs were smelling bad.Masala soya chaap was tasteless.Laccha parantha was not even layered and it was so thick. Giving two stars for only drinks and service.Even though the prices are cheap, I still wouldn't recommend this restaurant.
Best restaurant, great taste and excellent taste of food with very friendly service. Food quality is exceptional. Staff Mani and Manpreet serve with smile which is beyond exceptional experience. Even my 4 yr old son prefer to dine in this restaurant. Chefs cook food as per your preference.
Went here for lunch for the first time. We both had Thali platters, and they were delicious! My.goat was rich and tasty, and the side dishes were all fresh and tasty. Naan was also hot and fresh. My wife's butter chicken was a little on the bland side.....tasted more like tomato soup, without much flavor, but everything else was top notch. Service was excellent!
We ordered two extra large sized butter chicken meals and received one tiny container of rice that was not even enough for one person let alone for the 4 people the meal was for. We contacted the restaurant right away and they were super rude and unhelpful, and would not send more rice and would not even allow us to pay to order more rice as they were closing shortly. We then had to spend half an hour cooking more rice at home. Very disappointed with the service.
Had takeout, it was very good. A bit too much rice with other dishes a bit small.
This place was recommended and OMG were we impressed! Fantastic food.. the flavors were so intense and layered. We did take out this time but plan on coming back for a sit down meal. Great job!
